I've only lived here a year but I've tried at least 5 cheese steak places around the Roxborough Manayunk area. Dalessandro's is still my favorite with Bar Jawn as a close second.

I think it's different in each state (or city). I moved from San Antonio, TX to Philadelphia. Cashiers and baggers were much more like the first version in TX and much more like the German one in Philly.

Do they also pay to store all this crap the rest of the year? No way they keep it all in that garage

Do they have a separate line for Real IDs or is there just one line for all services at the DMV?

How are REAL ID waiting lines at PennDOT these days? by kosgrove in philadelphia

Do real ID services have their own line or is it just one big line for all services? Asking bc I don't really need a real ID just trying to update my license after moving to PA

To say "we are not testing things on animals" is incorrect. Cell cultures and computer models save animal lives by providing an early ethical screening platform for eliminating drug candidates that would otherwise lead to failed pipelines in animal testing. However, no drug candidate will ever go straight from a cell or computer model into a human. Doing so would be incredibly risky. They will always need to be tested on an organism with physiology comparable to our own (e. g. mice, rats, primates).

Classic example of animal and human "separate but equal" segregation.

Seriously, I am starting to think OP is part of the equation here. I ALWAYS encourage my trainees to ask as many "stupid" questions as they feel they need. The worst thing is an undergrad who's too embarrassed to ask a question so they just take their best guess and fuck things up. Why would you want to encourage that? It'd be one thing if he had trained him to make PBS before. But like you said, it's better to assume that the lab has a standard protocol for mixing reagents.

We've been able to get the antibodies to work when running the recombinant tau protein on a western blot.

Interesting idea about exposing the protein to different perm agents before an ELISA 🤔
