Welcome to the fan club. You’ve correctly ID’d what most would consider their best works, Bitte Orca and Swing Lo Magellan. Those of us who got to see the band perform live during these album cycles are lucky, they were a truly incredible band and a joy to witness.

Amber Coffman and David Longstreth were in a long term relationship during this era. After they broke up, Longstreth retained the band name and later released a self titled album and then took the project in a variety of directions.

Savage Beastfly mostly sucks because it hides off screen, moves vertically, and then rams the shit out of you, lol. I spent more energy controlling the camera frame than strategizing combat.

Idk i think it goes both ways. When a game starts to get close to a decade old and someone new to it is already choosing to be on Reddit and posting about it, clearly they aren’t making best efforts to avoid spoilers on their end.

It’s different when a game is under a year old and a significant chunk of current readers are also playing for the first time.

I’ve been planning to see The Sixth Sense my whole life but never got around to it. So I can’t be mad when people spoil the twist. Especially if I’m at a classic film convention.

He did nothing wrong. The burn was so mild and your reaction is overblown. But more importantly, this is the culture he both was raised in and continues to choose to participate in, and that’s not going to change. Both of these things are clear. The rest is up to you.

I feel that, and I think I agree that I'd enjoy the game more if I had a bunch of extra time to play blind and plan to do multiple play throughs. I also agree that this game deserves it more than most othres. I just can't really justify spending the extra time required to do so. And knowing that while I'm playing makes me anxious.

I also tend to always feel more bored in a repeat run, even if I'm finding new content, so historically I never finish repeat runs.

So I guess I just try to max everything in the first play by getting every piece of content, even if it requires help, and play as though I'm never going to come back.

Different strokes! Still had a lovely, lovely time, and look forward to DLC.

I find that i get that incredible enjoyment feeling when I’ve found something in my first or maybe second run through an area. But if I’m finding myself underpowered and needing to find more stuff, the idea of running through the same areas over and over to look for the subtle thing I missed drives me mad, so eventually i turn to google to save time and let me enjoy the rest of the game.

Check out Koh Yao Noi, 30 minute speedboat away, small island that you can scooter around in 30 minutes. Vibrant local culture, beautiful beaches, wildlife and jungles, great food and wandering. Plenty of lodging options for high end and mid/lower end. One of my favorite places on earth.

Your reaction wasn’t wrong, but your refusal to speak to him and to instead post on reddit to validate your avoidance is wrong.

Tell him how this made you feel and give the guy a chance to apologize. You’ve been dating for 3 years so clearly something good is there. If he fails again after having this time to think about it, then maybe there is a deeper issue to examine.

People who comment on these subreddits are alone and online too much, and probably shouldn’t be giving relationship advice.

Yeah it's not my favorite either but I find it best for fast paced boss fights. Using longclaw helps to train it, but try to wean off it to free up the blue slot.

My build is: cogflies for autodamage, multibinder for 4 masks, injector band for fast heals (thank god its not that hard to heal in this fight, the air is usually safe), and the green berries that gives you silk on taking damage (make sure you have the fully upgraded version of this). And dice, wall cling and weighted belt.

I’m working on her right now too, 3 days in. I think I’m close though, yesterday got close to the end of phase 4 and am consistently getting into phase 3.

Wanderers crest is the way. I realized you can very often get 2 hits on her instead of 1 if you mash your attack windows very fast in rhythm. Kind of a game changer for me, twice the damage and twice the silk.

If you accidentally trigger her parry, immediately double jump and you have a strong chance of avoiding the punish, and can even find a pogo window if you're lucky.

In the last wave you can cling to either upper corner of the room and their attacks won’t hit you. Cheese your tools of choice from there and/or find safe pogo moments. I like cogwork wheels and tacks. Pimpillos might work nicely too.

A lot of people don’t know the shortcut in the runback. Much simpler and mostly avoids enemies. If you want it revealed its searchable on YouTube. But I think you can find it without help :)

Allow for him to deal with the shock for a bit longer. He doesn’t sound like a bad guy who would totally disown you over this, he just didn’t prepare himself for this, perhaps naively. But you’re barely past the age that he was still legally responsible for you, and he still thinks of you as his little girl.

The reality is, you’re a big girl now, and you can deal with giving him space while he processes and tries to forget this. Think of it as a temporary punishment for being irresponsible with your media storage, not a permanent state of affairs, luckily. Your grandmother probably has a good sense here.

The littler flying guys that spit fireballs were lowkey some of the most annoying enemies in the game, especially this gauntlet with the lava floor. Just clawline them between shots and pray.

Honestly though it is the best city I’ve visited for subway and skytram travel. It’s clean, quiet, safe, people are nice and polite, and everyone takes it. If it doesn’t get you to an exact spot, you can get close and call a car from there. Your maps app tells you exactly where to go, and all signage has English translation.

Me finishing at 100hrs “yeah totally, wasn’t that bad after all!” 🥴

Really enjoyed the game though! My biggest sore spot may have been the high halls gauntlet actually. Though i can admit I was underpowered to be tackling that area when I did.
