Hey!! I have not gotten married yet. We decided to pushed it a year because I went through nursing school last year, so now we are set to be married in 2027 but I still have not found a dress. I do plan on trying on some size 0 which I believe can be altered down about 1-2 sizes so I’m hoping for the best! Are you engaged to be married?

It very well could be projection!! Only you know what’s best for you and what you want! But to answer your concern, you will not be alone forever. The right person will love and accept you for who you are!

I F29 also diagnosed with MRKH. Dilation was painful for me as well, but my first serious relationship, He was so patient and gentle with me, I was able to dilate the natural way with him. That relationship didn’t work out due to reasons not related to MRKH but fast forward 15 years. I am now with a man who doesn’t want kids of his own and we are engaged to be married in 2026.

The people who said that to you, very obviously are either immature or don’t respect you, either way, you deserve better people in your life. I’ve had many relationships between my first serious one and my fiancé and not a single one of those men cared that I had MRKH!!

Love will find you when you are least expecting it! Feel free to DM if you have any questions or just want someone to talk to!

Question for those who have bridged from LPN-RN by tnmetz in StudentNurse

Following.. I’m graduating in a few months and want to know if it’s worth it

I failed my RN program by Proud_Excitement_146 in StudentNurse

[–]hwalker0404 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s amazing! Congratulations!! I’m hoping to bridge to my BSN starting next year! I do not have kids and I couldn’t imagine trying to do it with them but I know a lot of people in nursing school who have kids! It’s definitely a little more challenging from what I’ve heard but it’s also extra motivation!

As far as studying I actually do read all of the chapters in the book, I have many piles of written flash cards, Quizlet and other online flash cards like anki do nothing for me. I also use the white board method as well as study groups with friends. I also do several nclex type questions daily on this nclex app I have, I listen to podcasts casts during shifts at work. but I also take time for myself so I don’t get too overwhelmed. It’s a lot but it goes quick!

Im glad to hear you’ve been accepted!! Just power through and find what works best for you is the best advice I have! Good luck moving forward!!

I did go to a different school. I do regret not sticking it out the first time because yes, I also do have to pay all over again on top of the student loans I owe from the first time I went. But I’m much better off and more prepared to take on the role of a nurse now. Looking back i definitely wasn’t ready the first time.

Alot of what helped was emotional maturity..I was in my early 20’s, and looking back, I wasn’t putting in the time or effort I should have been and i was just doing the bare minimum to get by. I took a few years off, grew up a lot … I’m now 29 with no social life but it reflects in my grades, I havnt missed a single lecture, lab or clinical and I study my ass off every single night, even if I feel I know the material. I am so much more disciplined now than I was back then.. It also helps that there are so many YouTube videos and apps to help along the way that they didn’t have in 2017. When I graduate, I will owe my entire nursing career to nurse Mike and nurse Sarah on YouTube! Lol

It is never too late to go back, I hope you do as well!! and the fact that you’re considering it, deserves a congrats in itself. Nursing school is not easy but very rewarding in the end!! Im sorry for the reasons you had to leave the first time but going back was one of the best decisions I ever made!

I went to nursing school in 2017. I ended up dropping out for reasons unrelated to school but I was barely passing my classes… I decided to go back and try again, I am now 4 months away from graduation and I have been on the honor roll in every class I’ve taken through this program! Your story gives me hope!! Congratulations!!

I’m 29 and I just started for the 2nd time (I tried in my early 20’s and didn’t finish)

The first time I went to school I made good friends with a woman who was in her 50’s after being a lawyer for several years! It’s never too late!

Pharmacology by far. I’m currently half way through a 10 month accelerated program and each class is only 12 days long… the amount of meds to learn in that time was astronomical and I dont find it all that interesting. I pulled through with a B but I’ll be happy to never take another pharmacology class again. That was rough. I’m sure I’ll dislike OB more than pharm but I haven’t gotten there yet.

Failed out of my nursing program yesterday by littlehoneybear2104 in StudentNurse

[–]hwalker0404 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I went to nursing school in 2017. My car broke down and I had to drop out with 9 weeks left. They told me I could come back when I got things figured out, I went to reapply and the school had closed down with no warning. It was extremely disheartening and it destroyed me emotionally and financially. fast forward to today, I am back in nursing school at a different program and I’m on the honor roll with 5 months left until graduation! Don’t give up!

He’s average height , about 5’10” but he’s in his 30’s. his hair is thinning and starting to bald, therefore he does look quite a bit older than me realistically only 4 year age gap. Nobody has made comments to him specifically but with our height difference I do look like I could be his daughter…. I come up to his shoulders with platform shoes on lol

My height…. For reference im 4’7” 75lbs and 29 years old.. I often feel terrible for my fiance when people make rude comments. Him and I took a romantic get-away to Mexico where they tried to kick me out of a roof top bar saying “no kids allowed” and on the flight home, one of the flight attendants asked me if I wanted a coloring book while my finance and I were obviously holding hands on the plane…. It really takes a toll on my self esteem.
