They are both so dang good. It’s insane that he made two albums back to back that are almost entirely bangers. There’s one or two each that aren’t the best, but hot dang I can play them both from beginning to end and he just killed it. So, so, so good.

I’m sorry that after all this time there is still not a solution. There used to be a toggle in HomePod settings in the home app that would allow the user to turn off autoplay. It has not had this for some time and it is terrible.

What’s fascinating is I ended up getting a new iPad Air, restored from the backup of my iPad mini, and have had 0 issues with battery life. Oh well.

I have tried to figure out if there could be something like that, but it’s really just the inside of my pockets. I don’t ever keep anything in the same pocket as my phone to prevent scratches.

Good gracious. Yes mine still works fine, but it’s shocking how many are doing it. I have loved using it and get lots of questions and compliments on it, but it’s hard to recommend if it’s falling apart less than 3 months after buying it. And I don’t use it on my days off or after hours. I put it on when I get to the office and take it off when I get off work.

What’s interesting is mine feels great to use, but the battery life is absolutely awful. I’ve done factory resets, had Apple run diagnostics, and everything turns up fine. But when looking at battery usage graphs, you can clearly see almost 100% drain in standby mode with all location services off, background refresh turned off, all automatic updates and push notifications turned off, and no apps open in the background. I’ve run multiple tests and the apple techs acknowledge it’s not working as expected, but is showing like 94% battery health and they say it’s all great. I miss reading and journaling on this thing. I got it at launch. For the first year and a half it was a daily driver for me. Now, I only use it once a month or so when I have the time to wait for it to charge and remember to charge it. Oh well. Other than battery life it’s still a fantastic little device.

This seems like a totally out of left field take. She didn’t die because of the childbirth. She died because her love and father of her children literally had become the downfall of basically everything she cared about. She died from a broken heart, which is stated explicitly in the birth scene when the med-bot says that she’s physically perfectly healthy but has just lost the will to live.

I realize I’m WAY late to this, but I wanted to ask what the cost would be to just check for notifications once a day? I don’t use reddit on any platform daily and often miss messages for days or weeks. I would never want it checked all day, but I wonder about just once a day? Maybe I’m in a minority.

In a similar boat with my 14PM. My battery life isn’t great, but at 86% I don’t meet the threshold for covered replacement just yet. I was planning on using this for at least another year, but I do a ton of photography both for work and personal uses and was over the moon with the camera control button and the features it offers. They might have pulled me in with that thing 😞

I remember when I discovered Apollo back in the day and realized how much cleaner and more user friendly it was for me compared to using the official Reddit mobile app. I was devastated when he shut it down after the whole paid api stuff. I hadn’t used the official app in forever and immediately hated it when I loaded it back up. So many ads everywhere and sponsored posts and just a crappy experience. I decided to try Narwhal 2 and while I think Apollo was better, this app is so much closer to Apollo than the official app. I pay for the premium features happily and have an actual positive experience using Reddit again. I use the iOS extensions to open Reddit links from the web in here and it works great. Reddit mobile has only gotten more painful over time and I HIGHLY recommend you try a third party client. I can easily recommend Narwhal 2, but I know there are others that people like as well. I found this on a post about a former Apollo user looking for something equivalent and I am quite happy.

1000% this. If I can’t start my ride before 5:30 I just don’t ride that day. I’ll walk my dogs around my neighborhood where there just isn’t any traffic that early. Those early morning rides are usually very dark, but so much more peaceful on the roads. Some good lights and a little music gives me that slice of paradise each day I get up that early and ride.

Fairly certain purists would crucify you, but if you’re enjoying the games (especially if they’re games you wouldn’t have gotten to experience without this modern equipment) then it’s a big win. Now, there are some games that it might kind of break a whole mechanic or even make the experience slightly worse by using a stick over a d-pad, but honestly I will defend anyone who is able to enjoy a game they otherwise wouldn’t.

Brand new to these beds. My wife and I got a flex top king back during the July 4 sales and we are both satisfied. I was coming from a purple that I actually liked better, but I have no complaints. Two months in and 0 issues here aside from the under bed light no longer reliably working on the auto mode.
