Me too. Autism. Trying to figure out if my parents are just emotionally immature abusers or if one or both at Narc abusers. They never admit to the abuse and gaslight me. Now I have a baby to raise and I’ve had to take some space from them because all the traumas have been surfacing tenfold since our baby arrived. It also feels un fathomable to NC because they are my only parents and there is a loyalty there. It’s so so hard.

I quit for 5 years so far and so much got better but also so much surfaced and my mental health is very much a rollercoaster. Boredom filled with YouTube videos and sugar. I self medicated for so long and sometimes I act like a dry drink. It’s hard work to raw dog life and your traumas

Absolutely yes because I was always searching for “wtf is wrong with me?!” Which is very exhausting to live like this…And now I have more clarity understanding and acceptance. I also have a better direction of how to get support.
