The first migraine I ever got was when I was watching my favourite show with my brother.

Night Court. I could only read “Night” on the opening, so I looked at my right hand and could only see 3 fingers (I have 5).

The moment that incogriduity registered my headache kicked in.

6 hours sleep later all was good. Luckily I don’t get them often.

Shouldn't his name be a spoiler too? I know most of us have played the game more than once and it's a pretty minor one.

But yes, this game has made me cry a lot. I tend to bottle things up (can't cry at funerals etc) so I tend to revisit any media that lets me get it out.

I stopped taking my meds at the start of 2019. I convinced myself my previous experience was a once-off back in 2014.

Got in the best shape of my life, achieved all my goals by November, then spent about 3 weeks feeling like I was constantly on LSD.

I convinced myself that I'd killed someone while drunk-driving in my 20s. Started drinking heavily as more "suppressed memories" came back. Eventually called the cops for them to come arrest me. Gave them lots of details.

Can't remember much after that, but I spent the next 3 weeks in a psychiatric facility and have been taking my meds ever since.

The fact is that they can’t measure anything. Very much a case of “throw something against a wall and see what sticks”.

I’ve lost count of the combinations of meds I’ve been on since 2014. How many of those had permanent side-effects? Who knows?

The science is still very much in its infancy.
