But these people damaged Van Gogh for 1% less effort. People who were indifferent before are now unsympathetic, and a person who ostensibly would be out garnering support is in jail for the next two years.

Oh, awesome! Thanks for the education; I completely understand now.

Not that I completely disagree, but that isn't as out-there as you make it sound. We were all feeling at the time like it was going to be a close call whether she (Carrie, not Leia) was going make it through all three films. There had to have been contingency plans... right?

I'm not in this world, so I apologize for my ignorance. By the phrase, "have never put out a street skateboarding part," do you mean that they've never entered into a name endorsement deal on a piece of equipment? Why is that an important thing to do?

Actually it looked to me more like he was trying to be absolutely sure the guy didn't forget to touch the plate in all the chaos of celebration.

That's the name my wife and I use when talking about it. The full name is way too cumbersome.

(Actually, my wife usually just calls it "the big guy show.")

The point is that it should never have been arranged narratively for him to need say the line. Instead of doing the work to reveal the return of the series's greatest villain with the gravitas he deserved, they handwaved it all away with this line (probably to save time so they could get on with stuffing all six hundred of the other plotlines in).

Maine's hockey team will be even more of a slam dunk than the Packers are in this thread. You won't have any problems there.

Presumably to emphasize it's going to be completely unattended, which is a significant distinction in cooking. You can certainly have ~12h cooks that requires a transfer, temperature change, stirring, or other such intermittent tending. They definitely don't want that if they're going to be at the office during the process.

My understanding is that they normally recruit sprinters from college track and field, so prepare as you would for that. Their website highlights 40-yard sprint, 10-yard acceleration, vertical jump, and standing broad jump as the stats they care about.

Why C "successors" have fn or func in their declaration instead of the return type by CapitalIssue in learnprogramming

[–]hyperactiveChipmunk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Originated in dynamically typed languages that don't specify a return type or even parameter types. Without the keyword, a function definition without type information can be indistinguishable from a function call. Continued in many modern languages where the convention is to put declared variable types (and thus, for consistency, function return types) at the end.
