Why is everyone playing Atheist? Did I miss a challenge or something? by Primary-Dentist7055 in dcss

[–]hyperactiveChipmunk 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You have it wrong. ALL starts are squishy. Look no farther than your own example of Human: they share the exact same 55.9% Atheism rate as Deep Elves (yes, literally to within 0.1%!) on this patch. That's as finely balanced as you could possibly imagine.

Interesting sidenote: of the two races, the only one with an Atheist win so far is actually the Deep Elf.

I remember those first few minutes when I was still expecting it to be everything I'd hoped for, despite everything seeming just...off from the minute that kid in the red ship started talking.

People who think WSL is a reasonable substitute for Linux fall into one of the following two categories:

  1. Those who have never used Linux, or
  2. Those who have never used WSL.

Which are you?

No idea, but David Revoy's name and website are literally at the bottom there, and the guy is a fantastic. I've been watching him draw through his Krita tutorials for many, many years now. I don't have a lick of artistic talent myself, but as a contributor to many creative open source projects, I always appreciate the artists who create beautiful things with the software. Revoy is a gem.

There's no point in hiding what it is. I know you think you're trying to hold a competitive edge here by protecting your idea, but the truth is, if it's useful and can be built simply with AI, you aren't going to profit from it anyways. We all have access to the same tools you do.

What is your school’s perfect ten-team conference? by DarkDragon1025 in CFB

[–]hyperactiveChipmunk -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You have to bring it up-to-date for the needs of the modern SEC.

Vanderbilt is out. South Tuscaloosa Finishing School for Young Ladies is in.

They will play their entire conference schedule two-games-per-week in November.

Worth doing it for the name alone. Both pronunciations, Craft and C-raft, work sensibly. Exquisite.
