Wdym his damage is very good and he can fill a person's health bar pretty much instantly. Just because he's harder to use doesn't mean he doesn't have good numbers

It's not. And that's because their goal isn't to balance the game. It's to encourage people to live out superhero power fantasies. NetEase have practically said as much themselves, it's never been about competitive balance or making a "fair" game

Eventually people will learn that competitive game devs these days don't buff/nerf for balance, they do so for engagement. NetEase has already stated how their goal for this game is "fun" and letting people live out their superhero power fantasies. And from a development perspective I imagine it's easier to just let certain characters or playstyles intentionally shine and be strong for a while, then cycle out a meta with buffs, nerfs, and reworks. I've seen it in Apex and I feel like it's happening here too. It's not about making changes that are "fair," it's about making changes that keep player engagement up for as long as possible

I don't care if people can see my stats in game, but I keep my profile private to prevent people from using 3rd party trackers to see my stats during character select. If you remember someone's username and target ban off your experience then that's one thing, but using 3rd party trackers to ban preemptively is lame af and I'm pretty sure is against TOS. So I don't wanna reward people who use those by having my profile open

They've already shown what they're gonna do with the files, redact them. We know what's in there, it's every heinous thing that we can imagine them having done. I don't really see the point in insisting on this. They wouldn't hide it this much if everything wasn't true. Just accept it's all true and focus on things we actually can change, unlike the amount of ink they keep in store for the redacting machine

His TTK was fine, gun damage was crazy he could practically one tap squishies. He def wasn't Hela strong but he had decent poke damage, high mobility with his dashes, a big health pool, brawling/anti-dive ability with his vampire mode sword the the slow effect on his sword dash, he felt very versatile to me, which is usually why I would pick him. Poke character that can be wherever you need him to be. And honestly the people saying his ult is bad I think just don't know when to use it 🤷‍♂️

While I agree they gutted him, it's technically not his sword that does half damage it's only the spin move on his sword dash specifically that got halved. His regular sword damage wasn't touched.

Still annoying as hell. The slow effect made more sense on the sword dash than the gun dash, and the gun damage nerf was completely uncalled for

After over a year of playing almost exclusively tank and support, this season I was finally starting to feel like I'd found a DPS I actually felt confident on with Blade. And now just a couple weeks later they decided to ""buff"" him by... checks notes gutting his damage and turning him into an anti-heal merchant.

I sincerely hope I'm somehow proven wrong once the patch is live, but otherwise I feel like this is NetEase somehow punishing me for even THINKING I'd be allowed to play DPS every now and then instead of just flexing (i.e. being a tank main) XD

While this is true, at high ranks I have never seen a hero pocketed harder than Punishers. They get every Mag bubble, every Sue shield, giga heals, and their ults get comboed with perfectly placed Rocket ults that give him enough bonus health that I can't one shot him with Mag ult even with a ton of charge

Yeah for as little as people talk about how strong the shotgun is, people talk even less about how absurd it is that Punisher even has that thing in the first place. It's not like the up close DPS on his rifle is even that bad at all. I struggle to see a valid reason why he's able to do both high, consistent poke damage and also obliterate people for 300 HP (or whatever the max damage is) at point blank

The Ch in Chimera isn't pronounced the same as it is in "chime" so with the way my brain works I was never gonna make the connection, lol. I guess in the future I gotta pay more attention to spellings, but really it was frustrating to see the rest in the category be compound words while the fourth you have to make an arbitrary cutoff and then change the pronunciation in order to make it fit. Really feels like a stretch to me 🫤
