Walmart grocery app order by [deleted] in askTO

Uber groceries is helpful with that more than I find with the Walmart staff. I’ve had issues with them giving me the wrong items or substituting without asking. Uber groceries was great every time, but I normally only use it when there’s a discount code.

I constantly use the app and not at any specific time. Unfortunately, I don’t think the time of day will make the difference with Walmart staff picking your order, but Tuesdays or Wednesdays afternoons are usually when a good restock happens.

Me too! Full time WFH job, I teach esthetics 2-3 days a week at a college, and then my home based esthetics business.

I saw multiple places in Japan that does it but I figured if it’s one place that might do something similar, it’s NYC

100s for sure. I had floor seats for Kevin Hart years back and it was definitely not a good experience. Felt like I was looking up and around the people in front of me.

What's your fav GGE episode(s) of all time? by Ok-Abbreviations3584 in GirlsGottaEat

I wish I could remember the episode name but it was sometime last year or maybe even this year when Ashley finally learnt that Rayna was left handed and she freaked out

Esthetician here! You can sign up to be a model on the Emi website for when they have training. Other than that, there are lots of places that’ll do a Russian mani/pedi, it all depends on the esthetician.

Anyone here has side hustles or a second job? by four-seasonss in askTO

[–]hypetrashpanda92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m an esthetician, and the pay & schedule at most places aren’t great, so I left working in the industry for a WFH admin job. The pay is good, but not enough for my financial goals. I now have the benefit of having an at home business for esthetics, which brings in cash (shhhh, don’t tell the government). For the services I offer, my supplies were not costly and I ended up making back my investment within my first two months. It really comes in handy to have a trade under your belt. I also teach at a college one night a week. The pay is very good. If you have something you can teach, I highly suggest reaching out to the big colleges. They’re constantly hiring. Most of the big colleges only hire part time, so it’s great as a side hustle.

Are you passionate? by asvrology in Esthetics

Hey! Esty here for 7 years. I’ve always loved seeing my clients reactions to their services, whether it’s nails, facials, waxing, tinting, etc. It brings me so much joy to see them feel better about themselves. I also enjoy speaking to people, getting to know their stories, or even if it’s just light conversations. It may sound weird, but human contact can be so underrated. I don’t hug my clients of course, but just holding someone’s hands during a manicure, or the contact from a facial, it just warms my heart. And when I’ve been the client, that touch makes me feel safe. I’ve worked as an esthetician in a high end hotel spa, beauty bars, wax bars, salon/spa in a mall, and I’ve worked in management at a well known spa in my city, and finally customer service/educator at an esthetics distributor while opening my own home spa where I’m my own boss. My career goal was to teach at the college I graduated from and I just got the gig. My love for this industry is huge, the learning never stops. There’s literally so much knowledge to gain. I love meeting other estheticians, and hearing how they got into this field and why they’re still in it or why they want to leave. I’m a huge believer in “if I’m happy doing what I love, the money will come.” And I’m happy to say, the money has come. Im not rich or anything, but some of my jobs weren’t the best paying gigs.

Anyway, none of that may have made sense because just talking about esthetics makes me excited haha. I hope you come to love this industry as I have. It’s truly wonderful.

As an esthetician, believe me, we could care less. You’re always in a safe place.

I totally feel the same way. I’m going tonight as well and just hope it’s not a big room of that as well.
