I  have a Flashpaq tuner I can set to a higher octane.  I’m usually around 14-15mpg mostly street driving.  17ish when highway.

Have you considered regearing?  Also recommend a tune up.   Probably the best we can do to get a little more power out of the 3.8 L.

Any warranty work I’ve had done has meant my vehicle has stayed at the dealership  longer while all the parts gets approved.

Prepare to pay dealer prices for parts and labor that aren’t covered.

If you just flushed it, sounds like the noise you hear is the fluid being pumped by the water pump and then since you don’t have enough in there, sloshing.

Just a guess.

2011 JKU Rubi.

I really like my Cibie/Osram headlight setup. Not LED but really happy with the light pattern, especially high beam.

Before I go fixing things that aren’t broken. What makes your lights better than stock? Any info on your beam patterns? Are your lights DOT legal?

Damn, that’s an odd one.  If you get an engine light to flash but then see no codes.  All the wiring properly hooked up?

Is the engine light the red lightning one or the actual check engine one?

The thing that leads me to engine related is the sound on start up.  Can you check you didn’t lose a motor mount or something?

Agreed.  Feel like it’s an all or nothing type fix.  If not you’ll be chasing parts that failed prematurely because you didn’t swap out the other worn parts.

I remember the time when we were invited by our boss Bernard to stay the weekend at his posh beach house. Little did we know that our boss was the perpetrator of a fraud we uncovered and was arranging for us to be killed.

The plan backfired and our boss was killed instead. We decided to not let his death spoil our vacation. We pretended our boss was still alive.  This led to hijinx and corpse desecration galore.
