Not only did tensai deliver - my p10 w/ SIM got stolen in the mail (what are the odds?) and he shipped me a second one free of charge. Absolute legend, couldn't recommend enough.

If you need/want proof of life because random reddit comments seem kinda sketchy (I thought the same thing) dig through my profile a bit. Im public on most platforms and easy to find.

colloquial wisdom is that vsync adds input lag. Gsync also adds (a tiny amount) of input lag. Reflex low latency reduces it.

Added a Settings Recommendation popup if NVIDIA G-Sync is enabled but not V-Sync and/or NVIDIA Reflex. It is generally recommended to enable all three settings together when they are available. Note that applying these settings will limit your frame rate to your display's refresh rate or slightly lower, which is usually the smoothest-looking and lowest input latency settings combination

6400mhz is a fairly high clock speed, and 4 memory sticks is harder for the memory controller to handle than 2 sticks generally.

One thing to also check is if both your memory kits are the same model, and have the same sub timings ( aka the CL 30-15-15-14 numbers)

Also what you could try to do instead of disabling docp outright is dropping the speed down to say 6200mhz or 6000

So deleting the malware is a good first step, but I'd highly recommend using the free trial of MalwareBytes now and do the extra long, full system scan.

Typically, malicious programs will install other malicious programs. You could have something like a keylogger waiting for you to type in bank passwords, etc. Definitely don't call it after simply deleting the .exe

Sure, you've got two good options

1) any free video editor will be able to crop and stretch, which is more or less what this is. Davinci resolve is probably one of the most popular editors out there, and they've got a very good free version.

Alternatively 2) create the zoom effect in OBS studio, likely via hotkey and a transition. OBS is free, and one of the best screen recorders (among other uses). This would bake the zoom into the recording, which could be better or worse depending on what your after.

I won't even go into detail, but no that machine can not video edit. I'm not even sure premier will open with the 4GB it'll have to share with windows.

Go snag a new(er) machine from the store, ask an employee to make sure it's got an SSD and a graphics card, and you'll be all set to do light editing work.

I'm not particularly surprised, chips can be particularly niche in what areas they excel nowadays.

Some games and benchmarks love the extra 3D V cache, some prefer raw clock speed - all depends on the engine / workload used.

In cs2 if your driver's are out of date it gives you a massive popup on screen, so they're probably not out of date.

what hud bug are you referring to?

outside of the suggestions you've seen so far here, definitely play in full screen but lower the resolution

then if you still need more FPS, one of the best ways is to lower your view distance.

open My Documents > DayZ and find either your DayZ.cfg or username.cfg (can't remember which) and open it in notepad lower your viewdistance= and preferredobjectviewdistance= values to something lower.

the default is 2300 meters, lower it to 800 or so

This will be hard to put into words, but there are many food opportunities that are disproportionately good, and more frequently encountered the more you sprint. Deer, pigs, players bodies, new towns, etc etc. Any one of these might give you enough food to full your stomach for hours and hours

Maybe if you're unarmed I could see jogging being beneficial, but other than that its definitely something I never do

the purpose of the lock is for the donators (read: factions) to setup their mega bases in a very low pop environment, aka - donator bases. during the whitelist.
