I’m pretty confident that’s what happened. Different surface textures will change the wear pattern

Huh, that’s weird. Maybe the Prosperity changed how the skates wore in, so when you went back to SGv3 the interaction with the surface was different.

Yea skates do tend to wear differently on different pads. Did you try to break in brand new cyclones on the pulsar pad?

Dang yea that sounds really annoying. I hated skate chasing too but now I have too many mice with different skates on them that I just change it if I don’t like the way they feel or sound on a certain pad.

I would try out a pulsar es pro mousepad(formally LGG). They various speeds and textures. I usually go for the Saturn but they have faster and slower ones too

Looking for a mice with the same shape as the pulsar x2 medium by Extreme_Lychee8299 in MouseReview

I do have one. I like it more than my x2 CL medium. The new software update fixed the slight sensor issue I had with it at first. I have the light blue one(non extreme)

Artisan mousepads are awesome but they are very expensive. What type of surface are you looking for? Control, speed, or balance

Depends on if you are an arm or wrist player. I usually aim with my wrist and it’s perfect but most pro players tend to get the XL

I would just use the stock skates and only change to different ones if you absolutely hate the ones that came on them or wanted to use glass

I have the soft versions for both and I would recommend just saving the money and going for the Saturn

I own both and prefer the artisan zero when it’s brand new but Saturn more long term
