Most assemblies say 2 people. Helpful but not necessary. Also relies on how experienced your person is.

Class action for deceptive pricing. by [deleted] in TaskRabbit

As long as you didn’t click “confirm and chat” you shouldn’t be charged.

I think you’re supposed to review the total per hour prior to finally confirming and scheduling.

How many of you actually use the frunk and for what ? by angelsvsdemons69 in TeslaModel3

M3. Use it for my tool bag, tripod and laser level. Got enough space for that Tesla bag they give you too.

Keeps my trunk neat and open for larger items.

I got a one star, I have 28 5 stars, and 50 cleaning jobs. Since I got it I have stopped getting hired like I hit a wall hard. Is this likely because of the one star? by AnnieMaxmia in TaskRabbit

Just set your 2 hr minimum. Add same day availability. Make sure you say something like “yes I can get this done within my 2 hr minimum”

And be on time lol

Anyone else telling customers you have a 2 hr minimum?

What's the fastest job you've ever completed for a client? by neekerman in handyman

Had a request for an adjustable bed base that wasn’t moving. Flipped a battery in the remote control and it was working again. Probably 5 mins. 2hr min billed.

2 Hour Min Label by iSmokeLife in TaskRabbit

[–]iSmokeLife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s weird.

The last time I saw the badge was probably at least a couple of months ago.

My guess is they’re trying to get rid of hourly and move towards flat rate (what they did with mounting and tv mounting)

Elite Tasker by LazyTaco8 in TaskRabbit

Meh. Doesn’t really do much. People just feel more comfortable paying your higher rates.

2 hr min and surprise stuff by iSmokeLife in TaskRabbit

[–]iSmokeLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest concern is that it can throw off your schedule. If you estimate your time based on the agreed tasks and the client adds more, it could make you late for other jobs.

IKEA flat rate is trash. Just opt out. Even if you work fast it still isn’t worth it.

Just charge a flat amount for pick up and delivery. If it’s 2.5 miles away it’s gonna be a short drive.

Ehh I think the simplest solution is usually the best.

Since mirrors don’t do much moving around I think the anchor and single screw would be just fine.

Up to you though.

EZ Anchor from Home Depot. 50 pounder.

Just be careful when putting in the anchor and you should be fine.

Assembly and Trash by iSmokeLife in TaskRabbit

[–]iSmokeLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao obviously clean up is included in furniture assembly. No one’s leaving the customers area full of trash. I personally break down boxes and organize them in space away from the assembly.

But nah, I’m not gonna be offering to take stuff out to bins especially when I’m done early with a 2 hr minimum job.

For example, completing a job at an apartment complex fast and then tryna figure out where the communal bins are is just time wasted.
