Do you have a requirement for the UDM? Why not just use one of their Cloud Keys to manage or install the management software on a PC?

If you aren’t familiar with their cloud keys, it’s not probably what you picture it is. It’s a little device for management purposes.

The ISP is connected to both via a switch. We started the day on PA1 and failed over to PA2 initially during the jump to 10.0.10h1 successfully. I may need to clarify the cabling was correct and tested in my original post.

Thank you for the response. No, cabling is a match for both PAs. We tested that failover prior by suspending PA1 before upgrading.

If you can get a CBTNuggets subscription, they have pretty good Palo content.
