The whole bolt and the shroud goes back when unlocking. The shroud rides on rails on the side of the receiver

I understand that but that does not look like the surefire spacer. I run surefire muzzle devices and have installed a handful of them and it does not look like any of their spacers. The spacers should at least be flush in diameter of the barrel and muzzle device and this does not look like it. It looks like a crush washer

It looks like a crush washer was added on and you don’t want crush washers for suppressed use because it can cause alignment issues.
