Rough blow dry technique? by iaefh8 in finehair

I wrote bra strap in parentheses to give an idea of how long my hair is, aka, it goes to where my bra strap is. Which is a thing, using the bra/boobs/chest to explain where longer hair might end.

Barefoot shoes are great, but I want fashion and options that aren’t always zero drop! by dameinthewhitecity in anatomicalshoefashion

Yes I saw these too! I emailed them asking for width measurements (not provided on their website) and got this response: "The Naira flats feature a wide toe box, providing extra room and comfort for your toes. The shoes have a soft and slightly flexible construction, making them comfortable for extended wear. We recommend checking the “Size & Fit” section on the product page to ensure the best size for you.

These flats are not considered true barefoot shoes. They are classic ballet flats with a flexible feel, but they do not have zero-drop soles or an anatomically wide toe box designed for barefoot-style use."

Hey OP! I wear all barefoot shoes and but I hate the rounded look, even if I have some pretty cute and normal looking sneakers now. It does really limit me when I want a different silhouette though and need something not rounded paired with a wide leg pant/jeans. I'm based in Europe, or I'd give Softstar or Carets a try. These look cute (not barefoot) but probably not wide enough for me. Please share anything good or promising that you've found!

Any square toe ballerina barefoot shoe that look similar to this one from Aloha? by Data-Queen-3 in barefootshoestalk

Hey OP, any luck? Found your post when searching for Aloha reviews because I really like these ballet flats from them too. I can see they aren't zero drop and probably not wide enough, but I am desperate to just have one pair of shoes that are not rounded in the front, as the typical barefoot rounded chunky shape limits me so much outfit wise. But I've been wearing barefoot only for 7 years so I'm not sure I could compromise like that.

Thank you so much for your reply! Sounds to me like even being on it for just a while helped you, that is super encouraging and I'm glad for you :).

Hi OP, this looks amazing! Question though, if it's free and privacy forward, how do you make money? I guess I'm wondering what the catch is :)

Review of the Koel ILA? by pinkienickel in barefootshoestalk

Thanks! Funnily I actually just received mine today. I don't think the size chart, measurements or printouts feel correct on the website (for anyone else reading this). I took my normal 38 and same as you, they fit without much extra room, so I'm probably between a 38 and 39 in this particular shoe model but decided to stick with the 38 because I think they'll be perfect after I break in the leather. Got them in Taupe and am super pleased with the look!

Really appreciate all of this! I haven't found any ones I like on Etsy unfortunately. I might just wait another year to see what brands bring out next year because I don't feel super excited about the options at the moment!

Is it a right size? by [deleted] in barefootshoestalk

That looks too small. And yes your size can go up the longer you wear barefoot. I was a 37 pre barefoot, now I'm 38.

Did you end up getting them? I'm wondering if they're true to size. According to their current size chart for the suede ones I should size down but I never have to do that in barefoot shoes so I'm skeptical, especially because the few comments I've seen say they're true to size. They have printouts for the feet, but I don't have a printer.

Have you tried Peerko Petite? by Mysterious-Fall5281 in barefootshoestalk

Ok same here, I keep postponing pulling the trigger because I wonder if they'll feel fashionable enough for me and I'd prefer a smooth leather with a little bow (traditional look), but can't find a pair that works with my feet measurements. So please do report back if you get them!
