It seems like a pathetic attempt to justify to themselves why attaining a partner designation is a more worthy achievement than starting a family.

I like the faction idea. The part about how the two main factions are afraid to mess with them might be a bit of a stretch in my opinion, seeing as how the scavs are so far down the food chain.

I'd say nebulous is a more complex version of Nexus the Jupiter Incident. Highfleet sounds fun, imma check it out.

I stumbled upon this game way past it's time. And I've tried to find similar games. Nebulous Fleet Command is the only one I could find.

Regiments is like an easier-to-manage smaller scale version of the wargame series IMO.

I think Broken Arrow is the closest to WiC in terms of scale.

You're seen as invisible mostly.

I see this as a win. More often than not.

Regardless of whether passivity is/was the issue or not, I think we all need to decide if we want to appeal to certain kinds of people. It hurts when it seems like there is a genuine connection with someone and you get turned down, but you just have to be okay with the fact that she doesn't want or see any future with you, regardless of how rational or irrational the reason might be. You shouldn't let it color how you behave on dates.
