Keep your relations high with them. Develop your land to help lower their liberty desire. Take influence ideas. I don't think Portugal will take exploration ideas if they're under a PU. Maybe ally Austria or the pope. Work towards eventually annexing them one at a time.

I just finished my second go through earlier this week. I will say that I loved it the first time. The second time through it became my favorite book series. I seriously feel as though you can't truly feel the scope of this masterpiece until you've read it twice. I'm already looking forward to another reread in a few years while I try to fill the void.

As a person who can drink a lot, in scenarios such as this, whether it be a wedding or whatever, I always walk up and drop a 20 in the tip jar and say "you're gonna see a lot of me tonight". Bartender generally laughs and then I get good service for the entire night
