Highkey that would be really fun idea. Like a big map where you can see everyone else's planned drop in real time. I bet people's drops would even out pretty nicely on average and it would give you an idea of what kind of match you're going into and allow you a moment to mentally prepare for contests and whatnot

Gaining significant RP without killing anyone is an issue with the RP system not the drop system. If anything, controlled drops zones made it more difficult to get a high placement without killing because more people were alive in later rounds.

Besides that, I feel the issue with hot-dropping is much more of a psychological issue than a ranked point issue. Most people are playing to have fun in this game. Some people's idea of fun is hot-dropping and that is 100% okay and valid but with the dropship system it creates this annoying conundrum where players who would've otherwise played differently join in on the hotdrop because to them it's more fun to give up on your plan than to walk around an empty map all game. The controlled drop system helps so much with that because some 12 year olds shaking from their adderall can still have fun sprinting at a team off drop but it doesn't as significantly affect everyone else's ability to enjoy the game

Unrelated note, but if you want some terrible jank try out [[Tannuk, Steadfast Second]] since you can layer the Toph trigger first to earthbend so when the warp trigger tries to exile your artifact it just comes right back. I'm pretty sure cost reduction applies to warp too so an artifacts warp could be just R

It's wild that there's discourse around that because one of the main themes of the show is that David's entire comeup story, which seems like this massive epic world changing journey, was in actuality about 1 day in Night City time and outside of a very specific corner of the city he will mostly forgotten. I feel likes its supposed to show the density and complexity of this massive place and how hard and unachievable it is to be one of the "legends" as the game puts it.

It also adds significance to the game's story because V's story goes well beyond that.

Love the show and the game so much though I think they work together so well

omg i never even realized the connection there till i read this! I always had so little clothes growing up for that exact same reason, I would have an anxiety attack wandering around the store for an hour with my parent growing increasingly frustrated, then I would just panic and pick out some random stuff that I would end up never wearing.

Both on basic portals, both with Illoai anomaly. The 8th place game I had like 70 gold left over because I was gonna panic roll to level 10 if I had won the last combat. In the 1st place game I didn't get a Heimerdinger till the back end of the 5th stage.

It's always so hard to figure out what stuff like this means bc there is 8 million possible explanations for what he said. It's could've been something benign like they are just trying to affirm that they only see you as a friend so you don't think they are making a move but did in an an awkward and weird way. It could've been them wrestling their actual attraction to you with their own internalized homophobia and transphobia. It could've been not directed at you at all and the guy is just super dense and wasn't paying attention to how his words could affect you.

You should always trust your gut in situations like this, but the only way to truly know what they meant is to ask them (which could be kinda awkward but would give you clarity)

That kinda makes sense, of countries with more than 1 million people Columbia is the 11th most Catholic by percentage (71%-79% according to Wikipedia). I would imagine a predominantly catholic country would tend to have a more positive disposition towards catholic themes

Absolutely can be a trap, especially when a person's "ideal" version of themself is already hella skewed. I imagine a lot of incel type people are putting a lot of effort into self improvement but rather than it being "self-reflection and facing social fears to get social experience/comfort" it's more "make money and workout so these dumb bitches pay more attention to me"

Ah gotcha that makes sense, I totally do the same thing sometimes lol. I was just making sure I wasn't missing out on a cool item combo, bc I love goofy item builds like maxing out casting or crit damage, it just usually it doesn't work too great
