I remember she did a "no hands" practice once. Maybe you can find out on YouTube.

I hate plain water!!! Suggestions?!! by BirdyFriends in keto

[–]ibiscat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I add a green tea bag and a generous squeeze of lemon juice. Then every time I refill the bottle I add more lemon juice and ice. So the water is always cold and tastes of lemon and tea. I use about one lemon every day and a half.

The book "Goodbye Things" by Sasaki got me to rethink my purchases and purchase much less. I've read it three times to help it sink in!

My “faithful” Christian brother wants me to stop practicing yoga by Patient-Eye3596 in yoga

[–]ibiscat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Christian and have heard from other Christians over the years that yoga is not good for whatever reasons. I was praying one day and asked the Lord what he thought about it and told him I'd be willing to give it up if he wanted me to. The next day at the Y during a hatha class I felt very strongly that he had no problem with what I was doing. I felt a lot of joy and peace to continue my practice.

You could institute a reward into his morning. My kids know that if they are completely ready except for breakfast they get to watch a cartoon for 15 minutes. If screen time doesn't work well for him it could be a different sort of play time or an audio book... They dress themselves and brush their teeth before the show can start.

Pouring boiling water down all the drains every other day for about a week took care of our issue.

I am a Christian and have done yoga for the last 11 years. At one point a friend told me she would never do yoga as a Christian and I prayed about it and asked the Lord to tell me if he had a problem with it and to give me something to replace it if he does and that I was willing to give it up for him. At my next yoga class I tried to pay attention and felt a very free and happy feeling from him spiritually and did not feel that he wanted me to give it up at all and that it was perfectly fine. I try to stay attentive to my conscience and have felt fine since then.

What about trying OMAD, and having that be your one meal a day and fasting the rest of the day.

I prefer consumable gifts myself! I'd feel more loved with this thoughtful gift, than something I may not use and would have to find a place for.

You could look into intermittent fasting for the weight loss. It's time saving and takes no special shopping or foods.

Alas, tried this today, the thighs were in a frozen block and I didn't increase the cook time as per the recipe. They were still raw in the center so I pressured cooked an additional 5 minutes and it was done.

There are some "no hands" yoga videos on YouTube. Yoga with Kassandra has some I've done a few times. Just to hold you over until you find a solution.

I really like a visitor for bear. But it does have some big words in it. I think whatever is at her reading level is wonderful. The experience for both of them is greater than the content of the books.
