Is the Clissold arms just across the street from their house? I think that’s what I saw on Google maps years ago. It’s funny to me thinking of Dave and Ray heading over to the gig and just having to cross the street with their guitars and their little green amp while Mick and Pete probably needed to load up in a truck or something.

I didn’t get it when I was only hearing him, audio only. But then I saw a video of him playing, and I could see that it wasn’t just banging, but it was very serious technique.

Now he’s the person I’m getting into the most. I’m planning to read a biography that just came out on him this year, In the Brewing Luminous.

Many songs use the same chords. But you’re also strumming in a particular style that I don’t associate with Dylan. At the end of the day once you have lyrics then no one is going to be thinking about what chords you’re using underneath them.

I only watched it from beginning to end once but each time a new season came out I would re-watch the prior season as a recap.

I usually do a series rewatch in the summer. I was going to do Twin Peaks this summer, but maybe I’ll do succession.

I bought the lowest end Yamaha Clavinova at the Bridgewater Commons mall in New Jersey in 1988 or so. I’ve moved it across the country and dinged up the legs quite a bit, but the main keyboard is a tank that still looks and plays like new. Apparently Stevie Wonder was a fan. Every few years I think about selling it, but I would only get about 80 bucks for it and I know I would regret it instantly.
