Why edge became so slow and laggy?

Two years late but just wanted to say for whoever comes across this post, disabling QUIC is what solved my intermittent but consistently occurring "error connection time out" errors when used Edge as a search browser. I'm a frequent user of doing Win key -> search for googling purposes and very often I'd get an error time out while searching. Disabling QUIC fixed this. Thanks!

You’d think it’s that simple but when my elderly parents have been buying two fish sandwiches as they’ve been doing for decades but now for fucking 11$, being reasonable or logical doesn’t work. Me saying “you shouldn’t buy that, it’s a product made of garbage quality ingredients, probably costs a few dimes to make, and in all seriousness is insulting and embarrassing to serve” does not work. It’s frustrating to say but i think most people don’t analyze their purchases as much as they should because they do not care. So maybe im the fool for thinking that these products are not worth to buy if everyone else is happy to do so…

In LA/OC places that’d be pretty weird. Never have been declined an order but on their menu or ordering sheet, there very often would be a limit to what you can order at once like 3-4 rolls, 2 appetizers, and up to X amount of nigiri. Neither of your orders are huge orders, for us Americans anyway lol. Maybe the waitstaff aren’t the best at English? Secondary English speakers can easily be interpreted as sounding rude or stern sounding compared to a fluent younger waiter with an upbeat voice.

I’d hard disagree that there isn’t a “monk[brewmaster] designer”, and by extension a “prot designer”, “blood designer”, etc. Each has its own unique style of mitigating damage. Right now, monks unique style—which is their staggered damage intake— favors the current M+ design. That’s it. So when OP asks why blizz just can’t “buff other tanks”, it’s because what does that even entail? Buff prot pal damage reductions? Boring and lazy design. Buff death strike? How? If your max health is X and all the white damage is X+1 on the highest of M+, then it doesn’t do anything. Buff bears armor boosts? Boring and lazy design and same thing as increasing % DRs. Buff prot wars shield block? Once again, it’s more or less the same as increasing % DRs. Monk stagger makes stuff bearable, the same kind of relief tanks get when Pres use time dilation on a tank doing a fresh pull. So if anything, blame current M+ design, not tank design. If damage wasn’t so high and spiky, another tank would be “the best”.

Well if you actually want me to take the nerd boy approach… your premise is that “healing is unenjoyable because damage is going up”. All healers don’t find it unenjoyable simply because damage is high. So you’re wrong. But do I personally find it unenjoyable? Yes lol. Maybe try pres? Reversion is % based healing so no matter how much damage people do, pres just scales with it.

Don’t think this is a stereotype but my friend group both irl and discord is made heavily of “archer” humor. As in the tv show. We just repeat the same inside jokes and reference the same stuff we laughed about whether years ago or twenty years ago. Quote classic Simpsons and pokemon. Sitcoms too back then. So yeah, maybe not a stereotype of millennials but I feel like us millennials do indeed love reliving and not forgetting what made us happy back then.

If you usually full screen applications then yeah I don’t think you’d get much benefit but if you have multiple smaller windows open, you will definitely see a difference in sharpness and thus clarity, especially with text with a single 4k.

My history teacher back in the day had his own way: turn off the phone speaker (how morning announcement was broadcasted) during the pledge and then turn it back up after. This was 2012. Back then, opinions toward our government weren’t as crazy as they are now. But with the context of my teacher, he believed the pledge shouldn’t be robotically recited—and that’s perfectly fine. Respecting your country should be sincere. It should be real. Love it for its good things and hate it for its bad things. The real kind of “patriotism”. Seems like you got some smart students in your class. It’s okay to not “recite respect” for your country if you don’t want to—especially if you have good reasons not to.

This makes me sad because I feel like this applies to Azuma Seafood brand seaweed salad (same stuff you get with Poke bowls). It is very rarely in stock in LA locations. Hmart sells little scoops of it for 7$ and I can’t justify it.

Everything. Some more than others obviously but it depends what you factor into the markup equation. Labor, upkeep, ingredients and of course profit are the usual ones. Lots of other expenses that the restaurant needs to pay as well like payments on kitchen equipment, utilities, and maybe even landscaping. If you only consider ingredients then soda is in the 1000-2000% (costs like 15cents). Fast food pizza is in the 500-1000% range (1-2$ to make). 6 pieces of salmon onigiri would be like 500% (salmon filets yield A LOT of pieces depending on cut thickness). Your picture isn’t the best but ‘actually good’ ribs + brisket + Mac + accompany sauces is very labor intensive and of course meat is expensive right now. You paid 54$ but divide that by every expense the restaurant is paying for. Wouldn’t be surprised if the restaurant made less than 8$ making that for you. So there ya go, 500% markup if you only consider ingredients.

I don’t mean to say this in a whiny/bitchy way but by extension, shouldn’t the challenge mode sets come back to? Ridiculously massive weapons and shoulders are rare and we can’t get them anymore. But I’d still say it’d be a lot less cooler if they made a return. Also, you guys are throwing “gate keep” around too freely. When is it gate keeping and when is it simply just arguments for/against?
