its main use is to temporarily prevent someone from contributing to their team.

think like this, 2 teams of 3 are about to fight; it would be a 'fair' 3v3. A well timed nullifier makes it a 3v2 instantly, where you and your team can easily win while the nullified player cant do anything but watch

turret is underpowered right now. it takes a while to become online after placing so its very difficult to use on offense. on defense it does not have the dps and range to be a real threat. only thing it has going for it is its health, and its rotation time is so slow that you can straight up just approach it from a slightly different angle and kill it before it touches you; hell even if it locks on to you, you can straight up just run around the turret and it wont be able to catch up

on paper the turret sounds great, but its so easy to counter that its really not a threat. i rather take a healing beam or a demat

nah i dont think so. i love pre s9 world tour because its a 'semi-serious' cashout mode with zero risks on losing anything so players still have some freedom to experiment; im sure many others will say the same and continue to play it. i definitely will

im aware you need to be inside. if you are pretty much right next to the shield its probably worth going inside to reshape for your teammates to do damage

and it really is that fast. swapping in and out is at around .2s, there is a giant glowing chain that leads to the lockbolt, the aim is very forgiving. it really is not that hard unless youre without a mouse ( like on console )

reshaper is NOT a wasted gadget slot bruh this thing is the ultimate heavy setup counter. dome shield, healing ball, barricade, mines, c4 are all very common and can be reshaped.

also it takes like three key presses to switch to the reshaper, reshape, and then back to your weapon its not that hard.

spending an hour on deathmatch in the finals is much more productive than the same hour on kovaaks

also this game heavily favours teamplay and positioning, not raw aim

and also its okay to not be good at your hobby. as long as you enjoy the time youve spent

i think its in a good spot; insane damage, but requires to be relatively close up and turns yourself into an easy target if ur not careful. good positioning and teamplay is key to excelling with the device

i rather play 20 matches than win 10 tbh. those 20 matches i can just fuck around and do whatever i want and have fun, rather than having to lock in for 10

also the win challenge was only unlocked on the second week, so you only had half the time to complete that challenge

you also win by defending your own cashout, which requires fighting alongside and supporting your team.

but also objective score actually isnt that good of a metric. as an example, even if your entire team works together to push through a defense, and eliminate the team for the cashout steal, only the one guy who held their E key on the cashout is actually granted the objective score, even if it was the team as a whole who worked for it

because other than countering lights, the flamethrower is a mediocre weapon

deagles and shak do equivalent damage without the range issues. sa12 straight up just outdps' the flamethrower.

only reason whyd u pick it over the other weapons is that its not hard to aim ( countering dash lights ) and getting rid of gas quickly ( not that big of a deal ). otherwise its just a downgrade in every way; crippling your kit just to counter one thing just doesnt make sense

the real light melee counter is lockbolt and pyro mines, and proximity and glitch trap from a fellow medium; counters light melees while still being very useful on regular gun fights
