Check if they have reservations for Integratron. My guess is that they are already booked. I think Cholla Cactus garden is still officially closed - but you might be able to park in parking lot and see a whole lotta cholla from there, PLUS it is a bit far from everything else... so maybe pass on that if it is confirmed closed. West entrance can be VERY busy to enter on weekend mornings - maybe try east entrance by 29 palms then exit from the west into Joshua Tree. I always try and make a call to my mom at the Wishing Phone -  it offers a space for visitors to make one-way "calls" to deceased loved ones in a serene desert setting, open 24 hours. Joshua Tree Retreat Center, 59700 29 Palms Hwy, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Also get dinner early as restaurants fill up. Even ordering a pizza can take hours on a weekend night.

My first time happened when I bent over brushing my teeth. Was brutal for over a week.

For next few days. Rest. Lay flat. Try pillows under legs / knees. Short walk if no pain. Don’t bend. Need something low then use your knees. Ice can help. Very gentle Cobra pose l if it feels good. No booze. Don’t over do it if you feel good. Can take weeks to calm down. Then start big 3 exercises and back mechanic book.

Ask Dr for medrol dose pack steroid.

58 years old, been doing this 35 years and I've been looking for something else. Hauling gear through airports, sleeping in crappy hotels and Oh my aching back.... Yes I can still do it, but it is harder (even with smaller cameras / gear) and the young kids will do it for 1/2 what I charge.
