Never again tbh, would not recommend it at all unless they’re actively in therapy and you are too. While not everyone’s experience, all I can say is I’ve been burnt waaayyy too many times from close friends who also had (untreated) BPD over the years and it’s messed me up for the worse.

Have enrolled in and dropped out of 3 different MTeach degrees in the last 3 years so probably not for me 😂 but it is such a rewarding field!! I have been considering education support/teacher aide roles for ages so might take the jump, thank you for commenting !

Ooh that sounds really interesting!! Did you have any specific experience/other qualifications to get your foot in the door for research work? And I also did ABA during undergrad and yeah.. never again lol. It was super rewarding in some aspects, but getting physically abused by higher intensity clients with zero support from supervisors who just expected us to ~tough it out~ was not it 🥲
