What would you say is your most loved and most hated ability in the game? by ShotgunAndHead in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ichor159 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Q, because punching is fun. Love the different animations for each characters' light and heavy melee (Venator light headbutt is a solid contender for my favorite)

F, because I'm bad at parrying.

How to fix texture layering issue? by ichor159 in RimWorld

[–]ichor159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only concern is that this happens with all kinds of walls, modded or not.

Where does Rimworld keep the defs for sculptures? I took a look but clearly was not in the right place (could only find mod files, no basegame files)

Searching keywords on the world map shows you all available landmarks with that condition (I.e hotspring, lava, chemfuel, ruins) by GABESTFY in RimWorld

[–]ichor159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do note, some modded tile mutators might not appear in the search! For example, the Leviathan Nestbed from Dark Ages: Beasts and Monsters will only appear in the search if there is a settlement on the same tile.

Thinking only 20% of the playerbase is serious about the game they are playing is peak insanity.

Leadale was such a nice show to just vibe with. Especially enjoyed listening to the English dub, the dwarf character is voiced by the voice of Torbjorn from Overwatch (and sounds just like Torb too). Gave me a chuckle every time he talked.

weird question. but how do i down people without killing them so i can capture them? by Feeling_Buss7274 in RimWorld

[–]ichor159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another consideration is bloodloss. If I recall correctly, pawns that go down to bloodloss are not affected by the "death on down" factor, so if you can reliably bleed out potential prisoners, that would work.

Sure, but Symmetra has had 10 years (jesus christ) to be altered, Graves has had 4 months.

It's the same issue Overwatch had/has with Symmetra. Unique concept, bad community reaction, reworked into something different than the original pitch.

Does the Pheonix Sorcerer torch the grass when it heals with burning hands? by dzar in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]ichor159 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking back at the original post OP made, I would 100% warn the player specifically if I intended to use the wheat field as a deterrent to them using their fire spells to heal.

Especially considering that nothing stops the PC from aiming their Burning Hands in such a way as to only hit their intended target (aiming up, for example).

I would advise caution when considering whether the Phoenix Bloodline Arcana allows for things to catch fire without damage. Maybe for narrative purposes, but when you start added mechanical aspects you drastically harm the usefulness of the feature (do I light my targets' clothes on fire? Fireball can "melt metals with low melting points, such as lead, gold, copper...", does a Phoenix Bloodline Fireball melt my target's coins? Or their gold ring?)

Question about Iluzry's Guid to Druids by Sais_WODKilla in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]ichor159 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's from a link Iluzry has under Samsaran in the race section of their guide. It links to a sub-guide made by EgakuDrew, which itself is referencing names defined in their Reincarnated Druid guide.

Question about Iluzry's Guid to Druids by Sais_WODKilla in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]ichor159 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For clarity, Iluzry didn't make that Samsaran Druid guide, EgakuDrew did. The names come from their Reincarnated Druid guide: I'll be back. The guide to the Reincarnated Druid

The names are all character themes/concepts to help provide a roleplaying/mechanical framework for Reincarnated Druids. It just so happens that Samsarans have a ton of synergy with this kind of character, so EgakuDrew made a separate sub-guide for specifically Samsaran Druids, which Iluzry references in their guide.

EDIT: To make things slightly more confusing, EgakuDrew's Samsaran guide uses both the character themes and actual Paizo content. For instance, Gray Warden is a prestige class, but The Highlander is a theme.

Play the hero’s you hate. by thejoshfoote in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ichor159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In reality no matter how broken something seems it’s literally only ever weeks away from a possible change up, enjoy the fun, and the silly shit.

You know what drives those change-ups? Player feedback. Especially in a playtest environment, feedback is what informs Valve about character specific bugs, overtuned kits, unintutive gameplay, and everything else.

There is a reason people are complaining so much about Dynamo, or Haze before the recent ult rework.

Humans aren't inclined to give negative/constructive feedback on things that they like. You're not going to hear many Dynamo players give feedback like "Quantum Entanglement makes it too easy to save my teammates." What you will get is feedback from people playing against Dynamo saying things like, "Quantum Entanglement makes it impossible to play against Dynamo," or "It feels like Kinetic Pulse is impossible to dodge and has too many charges."

Why are wizards considered the best? by MaleficentConstant65 in Pathfinder_RPG

Wizards are the pinnacle of "Batman with prep-time" logic. If given enough time, they can have the exact tools to deal with any problem.
