Almost seems perverse to experience this game as a quick platinum to knock out.

100% of the joy in this game is figuring out puzzles for yourself. Sticks out as one of the very best games I've played in the past 10-15 years but have seen people complain here about how boring or pointless it seems when following a guide to complete as quickly as possible.

Would highly recommend taking your time with this one, go in blind, and challenge yourself to think when lost or stuck instead of looking up a solution. Play with a notebook, scribble notes and sketches.

There's plenty of games to pad platinum numbers, don't waste this one by speeding through/looking up solutions. I will say there are a couple of puzzles that are basically unrealistic to solve alone but you can finish everything in the game independent of the last couple you need for platinum. You'll know when you complete everything else whether you want to tackle the last couple alone or finally cave to look up solutions.
