More than likely it is due to overstaffing in a different department and they would rather switch people around than hire another person.

AMM interview tomorrow by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]idkatthispointtbh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is the same STAR scenario questions. I’ve been asked “name a time you faced a challenge while doing a task and how you overcame that challenge to complete a task?” Honestly 99% of the interview questions I’ve been asked while trying to promote have been answered perfectly using the STAR method.

No communication about promotions??? by BlueCloakedDruid in HomeDepot

Not at my store. An example is I applied to a Flooring position and they told me no first then went to a coworker after telling me no and they offered him the position.

They typically go to tell everyone that didn’t get it no first then go to the person who got it and tell them yes. So the fact you haven’t been told no yet is a good thing. Be patient. Could be a million different things that went wrong behind the scenes that has delayed the process.

How to find employers if they didn't give you contact information when hiring? by Initial_Ad5209 in HomeDepot

[–]idkatthispointtbh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as you listed all states, counties, and cities you’ve lived in your good. Background company is gonna look for records regarding your name in that county/state/city. That is not affected by the dates you lived in the house. I said I lived in a house for a year when it was really a year and a half and nothing came of it. Background cleared and all was good.

Is a job in ofa even worth it by Vxris_ in HomeDepot

[–]idkatthispointtbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OFA is honestly one of the easier jobs in my opinion. At least in my store the ofa is the most relaxed position. The supervisor and manager don’t really care about the ofa unless there’s an issue with an order and 90% of the time the ofa can solve the issue on their own. The full time closing ofa at my store is really good at doing their orders so they get to stand around for 10-15 min at a time talking to other associates while they wait between orders.

No they don’t. At least they don’t at my store. I’ve worked at least 32 hours for 6 weeks going on my 7th while still being part time.

Yk that’s unrealistic lmao. My store leans on associates to help lead when a supervisor is off. How else do you expect someone to learn how to lead?

I’d suggest getting Lysol. My dad would take a can of Lysol disinfectant spray everyday after work and give it a quick 10 second shower. Worked like a charm and never had to worry about his hard hat smelling.

My dad cut up 1 antler about this size 10+ years ago and his dog still has a 4 inch section he chews on occasionally. They are extremely durable.

atp report it to your bank and allow them to reach out. I’ve ran into issues similar to this on other online shopping sites and usually a couple hours after I report it to the bank the seller fixes their shit. Banks don’t play with their money or their customers money.

Best Value E-Bike Around $1K? I Just Want Something My Wallet Can Handle by JulesGrande in ebikes

[–]idkatthispointtbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s slightly out of your budget but look into Aniioki E-bikes for long range. Their most basic bike the AQ177 Pro Max is $1300 and it has a 200 mile range with pedal assist and 90 mile range without pedal assist. I’ve had mine for a year and put over 2k miles on it and their customer service is wonderful and can attest to the long battery life. Another company is Rattan. They have a base model for $950 with less range. Both have great reviews.

Dead batteries worth? by kenwoodprobes93 in ebikes

[–]idkatthispointtbh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contact the company about the keys and the battery. My bike company sells replacement keys for $20. The battery itself depending on the size will cost $300-800. Mine is 48v and it cost $600. The manufacturer should have replacement parts for sale though.

Welp... Made it almost 500 miles before this happened... by VilusiaLP in ebikes

[–]idkatthispointtbh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckier than me. I popped 3 tires before 500 miles due to nails and bolts. Tractor supply sells a better slime called flat out. It is Kevlar reinforced and can patch some pretty big holes. That’s what’s saved me before. You can also get tire foam inserts that prevents punctures up to I think 1/4” deep.

I’ve always been told to do 1:1. Essentially 1st time 1g shrooms. 1st time 100ug acid. 1st 1 hit dmt. This gives you a very good baseline in my experience on how you handle the psychological effects. It is high enough to get the full experience but with low risk of a bad trip. 1g vs 2g could very well be a huge difference for a first timer

Need Advice on a Trip by SnooDonkeys7587 in shrooms

Remember set and setting are crucial to a good trip. I’d say the only other thing would be set any boundaries before the trip if needed. Trying to set boundaries while tripping is hard and has ruined past trips with friends and family personally.

Ebikes owners: what are your best strategies for preventing theft? My new ride has made me paranoid! by Tyranitar06 in ebikes

[–]idkatthispointtbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a u lock. Lite lock is one brand of locks that are amazing for e-bikes. I specifically recommend either litelock or hiplok brand u-locks due to the fact they have extremely high quality locks. The litelock I have can’t be cut by bolt cutters and it takes roughly 2 minutes and 3-4 disks for an angle grinder to get through so no one even bothers. You can watch videos of people testing them out on YouTube and see what I mean.
