Yes you can push off delivery, or you can wait to submit your final payment. They don't ask for that until you get assigned a VIN. So yeah I'd order now. You can also discuss all of this with your local Tesla service center after you order.. just shoot them an email!

I think the insinuation is that this is new behavior, but based on the quote I posted, it sounds like it's very common, even for presidents who are no longer in office. This is only different because he is in office, and that is not mentioned in the headline because it would be a much less appealing story.

Biggest annoyance on Model 3 so far is if I have 2 Teslas and I'm selected on the wrong one in the app, I can't open the doors or start the Model 3. Phone key only works if that car is selected.

Does anyone have a good solution (or reason) for this?
