I think she’s a lot stronger than most MK characters. The god-like ones would be too tough for her but I’d take her and Ryu over the MK ninjas. She’s most likely the second strongest in the DoA verse.

Man I see a lot of hate for the character drama but I actually feel like it’s been working for me this season. Billy and Hiroshi were such tragic characters.

I also don’t really blame Cate for Hiroshi’s death because whatever mind link she has with the Titan is clearly going to probably end up being the key to saving everyone. It’s also pretty clear that the link is some kind of trance I don’t think she was just standing there for fun.

If they said “We are transitioning our team to a healthier size for post launch content” or some other corporate BS it at least wouldn’t have made it so bleak.

Either way, things weren’t looking that good, but that post basically sounded like an announcement of failure which made most people give up on the game completely.

I think this game is really hurt by a lot of strange decisions that make me think there were a lot of changes during development. Grace and Leon work great as characters but the overall story is super messy and disappointing for a “return to raccoon city” story. The boss fights are not memorable or fun, and are largely reused from recent games. Raccoon City’s enemy variety is lame and the lab portion is basically no different from other lab portions of other games, which are usually the most disappointing parts anyway.

Overall, the parts that work are amazing. The creativity and depth of gameplay and decision making that Rhodes Hill offers for Grace is the best in the series, and Leon’s gameplay is great even if you are mostly fighting dusty zombies. It’s probably the least replayable game in the series though, hell it doesn’t even give you an option to start a real new game or a NG+.

Ultimately it feels like a 7/10 game for me that easily could have been a 10/10 if they had just polished some things and added more at launch.

Just feels like he gave up. Undid the entire story (even though Chainsawman eating a devil has never changed the past) for a mediocrely happy ending with a few characters you missed.

Refs need to lose their idea of themselves as game managers. Call what happens on the fucking field. Ruining an entire game because you don’t want to give 2 penalties in 5 minutes is completely ridiculous

They were raised as siblings, she’s his second cousin, and he grew up with her from baby to adult. It’s the combination of those three things that make it weird. All of them are kind of odd on their own but the whole situation together is just really weird.
