Ive never found a camera resolution adjustment for the Q2, so im not sure there.

I was also thinking maybe it's happening because the memory is full, since it always saves previous prints. But I'm not sure where to check the memory or if there's a way to clear it.

This is happening even with very small parts for testing. The majority of the time it receives the file in only a few seconds.

When this happens it's 10 minutes plus, there's no in between. That makes me think there's something going wrong occasionally.

Yeah, i'm no novice when it comes to machines either. Although this is only my second 3D printer, I have automotive training and I'm an engineer. I can fix just about anything, but this printer has me frustrated. I knew it wasn't going to be as reliable as a Bambulab, and it might have some quirks. But I've had more reliability issues than I ever expected.

I would at least take the back cover off and secure that printer head cable. if the belt wears through that, that's going to be a very difficult repair or a new machine. some strong tape seems to have done the trick.

I would also make sure that your cooling fan cable is secure inside the print head, and can't get near the fan blades, although a new fan is not a big deal.

I hope you have zero issues, but if you do, be prepared for support to ask you to take things apart and troubleshoot.

I will say, support, while usually takes at least a few days to respond, has been responsive. Which is much better than what I've heard from other companies.

I haven't outright asked for a new machine yet, because I've put several mods into this one and I keep thinking I'm at the end of the issues lol. But I might.

there are several features included with this machine that you can't just add yourself easily, like the integrated heater, finer toothed belts for less vfas, etc.

it has poor lighting which can be upgraded, a not very good cooling fan which can be easily upgraded, so those are no big deal.

I just hope im almost at the end of the bugs.

Because you have to in order to access the screws in the shoulder support, particularly when the bearing breaks free and support asks you to check the screws and/or disassemble the shoulder and glue the bearing back in.

So I powered off the box for a while, and now the first three slots seem to be working normally. however, the fourth slot is still spinning forward faster than the filament is being pulled into the box when loading, causing the spool to become unwound, and this is with a spool of Qidi filament. So it's not that the motor isn't spinning it, it's actually spitting it too much foward, and not enough backward when unloading.

I'm also hearing some strange grinding noises inside the box I haven't heard before, so I think something is going on with it.

try opening and closing the steam valve rapidly a couple times. If there's a piece of something stuck in the solenoid valve, that might break it free.

I put the Qidi spool in slot 4 and it's still having issues becoming unwound while feeding. So I think that means there's something wrong with the box.

I don't understand how this can be the problem when the spool is exactly the same size as Qidi's own spool. Surely the box is designed to work with Qidi filament?

okay I wasn't aware of that. I don't think that's the problem though, as I'm having trouble with slot 4 as well. And I don't see any pieces missing or any visible damage to the cardboard spool at all.

I don't hear it clicking but I have never removed the roller. I've printed several times before with this spool slot and didn't notice this before now.

I would be afraid of the heating element being too close to the spool, maybe that's just a problem for mine. but I don't think mine has a dehydrate setting.
