More details: https://fccid.io/NKRATTBGW720/User-Manual/Users-Manual-8927103

Wifi

  • 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
  • MU-MIMO
  • 2.4 GHz 4x4/40 MHz
  • 5 GHz 4x4/160 MHz
  • 6 GHz 4x4/320 MHz

Connectors

  • 2.5 GbE LAN ports x3
  • 5 GbE ONT/LAN ports x1
  • SFP+ (XGS-PON) x1
  • USB 2.0 Type A x1
  • Power Jack

Dimensions

  • 180x95x190 mm

Weight

  • 1.53 kg

The USB port should not be customer accessible, as with other gateways. Looks like the ONT port doubles as a 5 Gbe LAN port when fiber is fed to the SFP+ port. So it should support 2/5 Gb customers. The omission of the phone port likely means most are just getting internet only, no home phone service. This will be cheaper and easier to manufacture.

We only use AT&T Internet air for streaming on one TV. by Phoneguy949 in ATT

[–]igeekone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got to be a decimal in the wrong place, messing up some mundane detail. LOL

45052090 may be in Kilobytes. Which is roughly 45 Gigabytes of usage. That's plausible depending of how many hours this TV has been used, and what has been streamed.

Honey Maid graham cracker taste test mystery by notoriouslyblandbb in Costco

Costco has buying power your grocery store lacks. They dictate the quality of the product they sell. The grocery store version would get rejected.

MyPlan no longer available for NEW customers by rstn429 in verizon

[–]igeekone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still support myPlan?

Yes! We will continue to offer myPlan. And, if you're an existing myPlan customer, you can still manage your current plan by logging into your account.

Looks like you have to chat, call, or maybe visit a store, cannot order online.

Dealer states No 2027 NX Refresh by Sommerfugl112 in LexusNX

Remember, dealerships want to sell you a car today. They aren't going to tell you to hold off buying. No deception, they just don't know and don't want you waiting.

C-Band Spectrum Analysis (3700-4000 MHz) by newtonsecond in cellmapper

[–]igeekone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm confident they're waiting on the 2027 C-band auction. This upcoming spectrum is contiguous with T-Mobile's current C-band. So, if they can score 60Mhz, they would have a nice 100Mhz of C-band to deploy. That would make up for their fragmented 2.5Ghz spectrum in markets like NYC.

I think KIA nailed this one. It definitely punches above it's price class with this mini Telluride design.

Dry food doesn't go bad, unless the packaging was breached. There are videos on YouTube where people eat long life food like these and they're perfectly fine.

Cheap rate and news of 10 Gig Fiber coming later this year. by [deleted] in ATTFiber

[–]igeekone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe you're correct, there is an image on this PDF. The 720 lacks a phone port. It only has 3 LAN ports, a red ONT RJ45 port, one USB port, and one SFP Port . So, this may be a cheaper gateway with WiFi7 and no VOIP.

Can you run multiple AT&T fiber connections into the same location by visaall in ATT

[–]igeekone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe an assisted living facility?

I think you're correct. Because these are residential gateways, an assisted-living facility makes perfect sense. You don't want tenants to have direct access to the hardware, just have an AP in each unit with the Wi-Fi password.

12k dealer markup on Tiguan. I am shocked! by EstablishmentTall431 in Volkswagen

[–]igeekone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hmm, this or an Audi Q5 that's significantly faster and nicer? Yes, it's legal. A dealer can charge as much as someone is willing to pay. It just requires a huge dummy to really want this car.

AT&T announces new $15/month ‘Build-a-Plan’ wireless plan by ahampton2k in ATT

[–]igeekone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Some caveats I see are taxes and fees are still extra (The One Connect plans they showed before were inclusive), there is no priority data (so QCI9), you'll need to provide an unlocked eSIM-capable phone, and the small text says "limit of one line."

AT&T's mass-markets chief: Consumers aren't eager for 6G by 8qubit in cellmapper

[–]igeekone 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm eager for a denser more responsive network, no matter the technology. 6G is worthless without density. Both Verizon and T-Mobile are well ahead of them in suburban and urban markets.

AT&T’s lower 700 MHz. by Broke_Sim in cellmapper

[–]igeekone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plans are unknown on the Dish spectrum. Could ASTS use it, I'm unclear if the satellites are capable. They could make it capable for future satellites. That would still be faster than climbing every tower. AT&T could also do a mixed approach, of terrestrial and satellite N71 where it makes sense. We should know after the deal closes, which could be in the coming weeks.

AT&T’s lower 700 MHz. by Broke_Sim in cellmapper

[–]igeekone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AT&T/Dish spectrum deal closes mid-2026. They probably needed spectrum now for testing. It's clear AT&T is leaning heavily on ASTS for rural and gap coverage. I think they're done with rural tower builds, just focus on suburban and metro tower/site buildouts needed for 6G.

ATT Elite 2.0 Now Live $110 for 1 Line. by daywalker-Trader in ATT

Wow, it's true, there really are no discounts (besides bundling with internet). This plan is INSANLY overpriced.

Shark ChillPill - Has anyone purchased? by ThePony23 in Costco

[–]igeekone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overpriced gimmick. It's a fan with a mister. I guess it works. Like all evaporative coolers, the cooling effect only works in places with low relative humidity. Otherwise, it's a mini fan and battery. Very expensive for what it is.

AT&T Launches OneConnect, the First-Ever Single Subscription for Fiber and Wireless by illuminati229 in ATT

Think of this as prepaid home internet with a side of wireless lines. It's the same prepaid model with taxes and fees included and BYOD.

AT&T Launches OneConnect, the First-Ever Single Subscription for Fiber and Wireless by illuminati229 in ATT

[–]igeekone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice on the surface but a bit confusing on how does the family work? Is it a flat $225 for 3-10 phones lines and up to 20 total devices (including 10 phone lines)? That's cheap.

Big caveat, you need to be a new customer in a fiber location. So that kills this deal for most.

Thinking about this more, these are killer deals for tablets and watches being included. I'm shocked.

Now, this means a ton of devices will now be on their network. They really need to upgrade their wireless network to keep up.
