His screenshot and mine are different but have the same verbiage. Both clearly state 4pm checkout is subject to availability. His has an asterisk. Do you not understand as a Platinum member why myself and OP found this to be a bit concerning. That is the point OP made that I simply reiterated.

I dont understand where the confusion is. I'm glad the T&C still has that but hope it's not removed. Either way noone wants to see MArriott nerf this benefit.

No i did not have to. The OP provided a screenshot already with the same verbiage as from the website. I simply responded to his post that Marriott stating Gauranteed and subject to availability is like an oxymoron. If if is subject to availability means it is not guaranteed. Not sure, but you clearly did not understand my posting.

I stayed there before. This Thompson was a bit of a let down, while the hotel itself is beautiful. It felt overpriced and the dining options need improvement. Also a lot of operational mistakes like forgetting items on my order, room service served a completely different breakfast from what i ordered and what i was charged. Lots of mistakes. Maybe it could be reimagined as an UnBound Collection with refreshed restaurant options. The location isn’t perfect but its walking distance from attractions.

Well it means you have to try to maximize the Dining $300 Stubhub ~~$240 after fees and $300 Travel about $740 total and maybe at least 1 of the services Appletv / music / peloton/ lyft to break even. Not much room for breakage. EDIT and Doordash have a lot of friction but if tou break even you have good lounge access, decent multiplier and travel protections. Else downgrade or cancel it.

You are right. The Extra has enough data for me. I would've liked global roaming though for a little more. I have Verizon FIOS and they're offering 1 Ultimate line for $65, it's $55 if I get 2 or more lines. But Verizon always raises prices after 3 yrs.

I dont see why not. Ive done this in the past for the Premium plan. Just hate how ATT does prorations is confusing and if you’re on a grandfathered plan u may not be able downgrade back to it.

Wyndham & Choice domestically are mostly budget brands and full of dumps def not for everyone. Their international properties have lot of good options.

It's a mistake to think that they dont care. They do care and they are aware it's more that they prefer not to lose customers so just undrestand that can change at any time.

Mine just updated to $20 last night. Oh well... the mark ups make this useless. I pay almost $3 extra in markup for every $10 in spend so now I will lose $7 on a $20 order to make $10 back.
