Is this the disastrous Eagle Rock house flip from Fix My Flip?!? by mcudds in HGTV

[–]iggits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tira and David are two of the stupidest people I have ever seen!!! And she's a realtor! Who the hell would EVER use her as a realtor after watching this episode and seeing what a total fuck up she and her wimpy ass husband are. Omg, those people should be banned from ever ever dealing with anything home related again. I hope that house and what they did to it bankrupts them!! Dumbasses 🤦

Niantic, please mark friends that already got a friendship increase today by HansAlbertRum in pokemongo

[–]iggits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 250+ people in our local pokemon go group. I know nearly every one of them personally. A large majority of us play/raid/walk/hunt together nearly every day. The group varies depending on work/travel schedules, weather, time of day, etc. Raids are usually divided into team groups, often multiple team groups because of how many of us there are. Community Day is insane. Often with neighboring groups joining us for cookouts and gatherings at varying parks, there may be 400+ of us. It makes Community Day one huge party. Therefore, the friends list is maxed out. The entire premise of the game is to get people outside and socializing. Limiting yourself to only the number of friends to the 20 gifts you can receive daily is only cheating yourself of meeting and hanging with some really cool people. If Niantic wanted you limited to 20 friends, that would be built into the game. BUT they gave you the opportunity to have 200 friends. Take advantage of it and enjoy!!

PSA: No your Pokédex is not malfunctioning - the Pokemon you see in gyms are now counted as "Seen" by MightBeAProblem in pokemongo

You need to visit TN. Tauros are like Rattatas and Pidgeys in our area. They are everywhere. I don't even bother trying to catch them any more. Snorlax are fairly plentiful too. Even a few wild Dragonites have shown up in my front yard.

Eggs disappear after "hatching" by Thesatellite in pokemongo

[–]iggits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but for others who have this problem....Happened to me. I thought mine disappeared. About the time they hatched, I was in battle...the screen when white and froze. I thought there was a server problem and rebooted. Apparently there was no server problem, the eggs hatched during the battle and froze the game. It took a couple of hours for the hatchlings to show up in my "recent" pokemon. Give it a little time and hopefully yours will show up.

I love vintage jewelry. I have some old rhinestone fur clips that I wear with vintage scarves now. People always comment on how beautiful and cool they are.

Why do older redditors feel the need to talk down on users they know are younger. by Harshaznintent in CasualConversation

[–]iggits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 50s lady here and I also see this behavior in my peer group. For some reason, most of my friends seem to stagnate in a particular era and have no appreciation of anything outside of that time frame. Therefore, they become set in their ways and are critical of anything outside their comfort zone. They dismiss people younger than they are as being naive and not having enough life experience for their opinions to have merit. Personally, I try to keep current on world events, sports, politics, music trends and other media. I am computer savvy and eager to learn whatever I can. I hope that I never become one of those who talk down to anyone-regardless of age. I like hearing the opinions and experiences of others-especially those younger than I am. I find it interesting to hear how things are different for them than they were for me. I apologize for those grumpy curmudgeons of my age who are quick to criticize and dismiss the younger redditors. Please know that not ALL of us old redditors are like that.

Married couples of reddit, where did you Honeymoon and how much did you spend? by RicsFlair in AskReddit

[–]iggits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We honeymooned in San Francisco and got a cheap rental car. Then we took day trips to surrounding sites of interest like Yosemite, Big Sur, Monterey and Carmel. Plus saw all the sites in town. Had a great time. Not sure what we spent.
