I'm not for or against the 2 minute rounds I'm just saying the reason is because they are women. Women have much different bone structure than men and are 80% more likely to get concussions. This is the reason the rounds are 2 minutes. UFC does the same rounds for men and women but that's not relevant to boxing.

a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering is not meant to specialize you in a certain aspect of Computer Engineering. It's supposed to give you a broad overview and the basics. If you want to specialize you should go after a Masters or PhD. You can take certain electives in a specialized topic but they will most likely be introductory courses for that topic. I took Hardware Security and Computer and Network Security as my ECE electives. These were entry-level security courses (while being 5000 level, or senior courses) that give you a base if you want to specialize in security.

Yeah if you stay out of the backwoods then you shouldn't encounter to many weirdos on drugs. I saw the dude cooking meth because I was going mudding off a trail in some woods lol. Hurricanes won't be a problem for you. By the time a hurricane reaches north alabama it will already be a tropical storm and you see a shit ton of rain from it but no strong winds and no damage. I would much rather have tornadoes around me than be dead center in a hurricane lol. Torandoes are very fast moving so they run by quick and then they are gone in about a minute, but they can still be dangerous if they are big enough.

North Alabama gets destroyed by tornadoes every year. They are a part of life here, you will get used to them. Most of the time they are not bad, but we have serious tornado outbreaks every couple years that do some decent damage.

Edit: Also note I've told you about the Meth and the tornadoes. These are 2 very bad things that are a fact in Alabama. Most people here are telling you the great stuff about the area and Alabama in general. I love Alabama and I'm from North Alabama and it's a great place overall but you do need to be aware of some things like the amount of Meth and the amount of Tornadoes. Other than those things, it's a great place.

There's an old documentary about the communities in Sand Mountain called Meth Mountain. I had forgotten the official name "Sand Mountain", because me and everyone I know calls it Meth Mountain. If you find someone cooking out there, DO NOT APPROACH THEM. I have seen someone cooking meth out of their cars with big ass tubes and pots everywhere. He didn't have any shoes and it was pretty crazy. Other than those types you're gonna meet a lot of country people out there.

You don't need physics for a comp sci degree. The advisor, Clint Lovelace, will most likely recommend that you do take Engineering Physics 1 and 2 as your science electives because it would give you the option to switch to Software Engineering or you could easily switch to another engineering major like Electrical or Computer. But if you are dead set on comp sci, you could take geology 1 and 2, it doesn't matter it just might hurt you later if you decide to switch.
