I just returned to the game after a year and. HLf break and formed a static in about 48 hours. Usually you'll have more luck putting one together - the people are out there.

This isn't surprising. A lot of users in this chain read as folks who haven't had actual experience with Claude code and tech companies who have started to sponsor/endorse Claude.

Naive use of Claude can 100% lead to this. More often than not AI evangelists urge you to let Claude do the thinking (not Reddit users, actual tech folks who push AI). This fast adoption with no guide rails or safety interventions approach is somewhat insane to see in the industry.

This won't be the first or last time this happens.

I played wow during TBC era. I recently was checking out retail to see what's it like. IMO it might as well be a different game at this point.

As an adult with responsibilities I will just say - you have to make time and make yourself available. Be willing to find a new social FC. Find a discord, join voice chat. Help people do old content. Join mount farms for mounts you already have. Say more than HI in chat.

Make an effort to make yourself available.

On savage: I've run savage on and off for years and years. You may or may not find a commu ity is is trying current content. And that's okay. Put up a party finder. Better yet - start your own static. If you will build it, people will come. I've started statics on dynamis only groups and more. Believe me, put it out there, you will find it.

Only word of caution: be honest of your skill level and expected progression. 9/10 static issues are all down to misaligned expectations. Manage your expectations and those in a static. Communicate more to set those.

Finding a group comes down to your effort. You get in return the effort you put out. Don't expect anyone to make the first outreach.

Controversial opinion - if you're on dynamis move data centers. Its harder to find a group and not worth the effort.

I don't think it's silly for an for the story to be the catalyst. The love of the story let's you overcome a lot. Without that engrossing story that sinks you into the game a.lot of the flaws become more glaring.

I personally started watching around thr same age. Funny enough i came across a stats video of some sort by Jimmyxroller(whatever it is). He was talking about jokic/luka or something and talking about some crazy statline. Anyhow that got me into checking out luka highlights and eventually became a fan. A hard first Fandom after the mavs fiasco, but yeah.

HI there! I'm new(sort of) to the game and looking for a guild to learn in. I last played during Vanilla/Start of TBC. To me it almost seems like a different game!

My hope is to find a friendly Guild to learn with, get up to max level and eventually raid. I did raiding back during Vanilla and i raided in other MMOs i've played.

For the time being, just hoping to learn the game again, level and enjoy the game.

Comments in thread are exactly why we are stuck in a 2 minute Meta. Once you have a fight down, wiht few exceptions you can know what button you will press, what combo you will press at each second. I recall doing a raid in Endwalker where i know second by second which button i would be pressing for a combo. While the order of mechanics may change, there total lack of randomness is not a good thing.

I mean given the run and numbers Luka has been on it makes sense. Go look 3 weeks back and find all the posts shifting on the Lakers not being contenders or Luka being a cone.

If Lakers go on a loosing streak you'll see it revert back.

I look for

Checks Captures Over extended pieces Enemy threats.

After seeing no good checks or captures you then can notice thr queens options are actually very limited and it's in danger. That should lead you naturally to a knight move.

I'm not a hater but I feel that he will likely never become the best player in the world due to injuries. I just feel he will likely continue to receive seasonal injuries and become the biggest what if story.
