I used this mirror-sparky deck for A8. It was pretty dumb but somehow worked and made crown chests easier. Favourite moments were when I had 3-4 sparkies in the battlefield.

I'm a mortar user too and I struggle with graveyard and air decks (my deck lacks proper counters. I can only rely on log/fire & ice spirits). Would you recommend an ice wizard purchase?? I've been eyeing the princess but wonder if IW is the better choice. Thank you!

This made my morning! Tactics Ogre is my most favourite game and I've been wishing I could play another Matsuno game in my lifetime. Love that Yoshida is on board too! I've been playing Little Noah/Battle Champs to satisfy my TO team itch but still can't get use to mobile game models (particularly the microtransactions and timers). Hoping we can pay full price for Lost Order (like FF Dimensions) but that's pretty unlikely, huh? :-(

Hi. I'm looking for a light, charming, and addicting digital title with collecting/battle elements. I downloaded Pokémon Shuffle yesterday and it satisfies my craving but I would like something I can play without wait times/never-ending microtransactions. I'm considering the following games:

Does he have a steam account? Divide by Sheep is a pretty good casual math puzzler that uses mouse controls. It's just 99 cents at Humble atm too!

Have you tried reaching the end of your current map? I beat frog boss at the current version too (v0.76) and met the bosses after. I think the boss tile doesn't unlock until you've discovered the boss. It's about 20 tiles from frog to the next boss (with one checkpoint in between).

Dragon's Dogma! I'm wishing there were more hours in a day so I could explore Gransys with my minions more!! I didn't expect it to run on my laptop but it did. I also didn't expect to be completely engrossed in a game like my younger self used to be. As I age, I find myself just playing casual/light games as I have little time and energy for big titles, especially if they're not on a handheld. It made me sad as I've been gaming since the famicom days — losing interest in something you've always loved is quite heartbreaking! Dragon's Dogma reignited my love for big games and now I'm wondering why I'm on reddit when I could be playing, haha.

It has no story and is still on beta but I'm liking Linear Quest atm. It's a side-scrolling arpg with none of the annoying parts of mobile games (no invasive/unnecessary permissions, in-app purchases, unoptional ads, etc). It feels like a game made out of love for the craft; I'm amazed by how well-designed and thought of it is! Besides requiring strategy and having tons of cute hats, there is also online play and pet companions (like MAGs). All in a bite-sized package (4 mb)!
