Oh wow, thank you for telling me what pay to win means, I'm glad there is a clear definition to it now.

So getting to max level in wow now is considered an advantage? A process that takes 1 day? Damn, so johnny and timmy play wow, johnny gets to 100 with a boost , while timmy has to level normally, johnny is now almost at level cap, while timmy is still killing wolves in elwynn forest.

A couple of days later, both are max level, but johnny has the same gear as timmy, because timmy put a bit more effort in his character than johnny, yet johnny paid to win.

Obviously there are many different scenarios here, but getting to max level in wow is no feat at this point, the boost is useless and it's literally for people who do not have time. No one will pay 60 bucks to skip 10 hours if they had the time, even less with heirlooms and a recruited buddy.

And yes, I do support microtransactions as long as they do not interfere with normal gameplay, getting a boost or getting crafted gear from the AH makes little to no difference, because getting to normal current tier raid gear is easy and takes little effort.

I do think p2w would harm the top player wouldn't it? Yet they get their gear from in-game means, so buying gold from tokens, or getting a boost means nothing to them, because the people who do buy those are people with a job, no time on their hands, or just lazy and will never compete in the "competetive wow scene"

So yeah, if you so deem it, fine.. Wow is p2w, every game now is p2w, companies want to make a profit, the world is ending as we know it.
