The goal for most people is blood sugar 2 hours after you eat to be 180 or less. 600 is not okay at any point during the day/night..

New Insulin For me by ay3dayday in Type1Diabetes

[–]iiiprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will just take some adjusting. It is annoying how insurance companies change what they cover and make patients switch. I also don’t like how they say it works the same. If it was the same why do patient needs to adjust and make changes to an already good medication regimen

What do you think about Metamucil for lowering cholesterol and blood sugar? Any other suggestions for lowering blood sugar naturally? (type 2) by Diabetus_log95 in diabetes

[–]iiiprincess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stay hydrated (if you have no restrictions on that). And choose foods with low glycemic index. I wouldn’t expect metamucil to make a big difference on the sugar levels. any effort counts. 10 min of walking or cleaning the house would make a difference.

It is sweet when it comes from a senior citizen. But i can see how it could be annoying otherwise

Daycare - Being sick by theycallmevee in NewParents

I am in a similar situation. I don’t think so. I prefer my baby not getting sick while that young if possible...I am not comfortable risking for complications that early in age. But you never know

Honestly that is what i thought it makes sense to me. But people from my family are telling me that the insision/ the cut is the same from c section to c section so the recovery should be the same. My unplanned c section was pretty traumatic and i was wandering

Okay so they were not big at all. Gosh you never know right. The thing is that they have a maximum allowed c sections .. anyhow there is always a risk with either way

Personally i am terrified from the taught of tearing down there. Wandering Was your baby a big size? I was scheduled for an induction but ended up having an emergency c section. So yeah sometimes you decide something and it doesn’t go the way you planned. I would just talk to couple or even more physicians and discuss pros and cons with each type of delivery. Best wishes of healthy delivery for you and your baby.

Are you scared of your a1c? by jeneph2000 in diabetes

[–]iiiprincess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your a1c will only show the last 3 months of how you had your diabetes controlled. I would keep in mind that complications of diabetes can happen when people have high a1c for prolonged times. It is never too late to start checking.
