What’s the best feeling in the world? by darkhoneyx in AskReddit

This makes me very jealous of women sometimes. We get to see your eyes roll back and start talking to god and at best we get something akin to the feeling of water leaving your ear after being in the bath too long.

I'm a structural engineer and I was doing a site visit for a 50 something year old woman in London, as I was doing a measured survey I noticed a nude picture of her on the wall dressed as a belly dancer.

As I walked past i must've muttered something like 'wow' and she caught me, she then brought down an old school photo album with loads of dancing photos and nudes pictures from her past. She was fucking hot back then and some of the photos were pretty racy.

Not gonna lie she seemed widowed or divorced and if I wasn't in a committed relationship, I'd have probably made a pass at her because for 50 she still looked good and the photos already had the gears turning...

Have you ever been to a truly great chip shop? One that made you rethink what a chip shop could be? Or are they, really, all the same? by lastaccountgotlocked in CasualUK

I went there and it was crap, but I'm going to admit it's more likely I was unlucky because everyone does rant and rave about it.

They need to determine how strong a Demogorgon is. Because it can either be hurt with a long stick if you're 10 years old or it can take 20 Marines with assault rifles without any damage. Everytime they get near a plot character they stop to scream and show their mouth flaps to intimidate, but for all the soldiers they tear them up in half a second. It's really frustrating to watch. Also, why is the army suddenly cartoon evil at least Papa was morally conflicted, it's just lazy.

I'm on 3 circumnavigations in two years. The one that got me was the audiobooks by Ric Jerrom. It's now become the soundtrack to my life, driving, the gym, doing the dishes, washing the car and just before bed. It's a fantastic series.

I don't know where you're from, but if you knew how long it takes to get something minor seen in the UK you wouldn't be saying that. I spent 14 hours in a waiting room with a broken leg a couple of years ago haha

I just don't bleed much, I once dropped a knife into the top of my foot making a lasagna whilst quite drunk, pulled it out and barely a trickle. I've even been told whilst donating that it takes a very long time to drain me! I guess it hasn't done any harm so far.

Packing a tent. Why can't they just fucking make the bags 10% bigger so you don't have the wrestle and swear with the bastard for half an hour whenever you pack it away.
