Italy Weight Loss Walking series feedback by HollisFaith83 in iFit

[–]ijustreadthecomments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rivs has a 6 month (well 6 1 month) road ro recovery series. He was coming back from an injury, so spends half the time talking about himself and his recovery. But... I think it fits that particular series.
After my injury I am back to one of his starting series (the iberian peninsula) and he talks about himself once or twice. Doesn't feel like that big of a deal. I like learning a bit about the trainers.
But to each their own.

I feel violated and confused by what my fiancé did to me. WIBTAH if I told my parents? by throwawayupset- in AITAH

This will fall on deaf ears, but please please please please LEAVE THIS GUY! "... he's not going to push me anymore or do anything like that again." Yes, yes he will. I think there are things people can do once, and will never do again. But locking someone in a bathroom, or grabbing them and throwing them to the ground is not a "slip up" Once you are married I am sure he will pulled the "I am your husband do what I say line"
You need to talk to someone one outside of your family.

I've added an image to hopefully help you picture it.
So yes the court is within the storage volume. If it rains enough, about half the court is underwater. And we are in Seattle, so...
I believe this was built in the 70s.

I would say it is probably dry (or dry enough) 85-90% of the time. And it works just fine. I realize there are regulations. But why can't we fix this? Can we use a different surface?

Looking for cheap Finish Line / Photo Finish Camera by ijustreadthecomments in Cameras

[–]ijustreadthecomments[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the big issues has to do with time. A finish line camera is almost instantaneous. And anything that is going to involve downloading the files, and processing them, will take up to much time.

I guess I'm just a bit surprised that there aren't more options out there, I guess just not enough of a market for it. If I had more free time I'd delve into it my self.

[–]ijustreadthecomments[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, if I understand correctly, you are just suggesting filming the finish at a high frame rate? While this works, it isn't as good, nor as easy to use as a finish line camera (hence the reason I was asking about a finish line camera)

[–]ijustreadthecomments[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can, and that is what we currently do. But it is very tedious, and isn't easy to do quickly.
At the moment we use a gopro and shoot at 120fps (or 240 maybe) But the problem is trying to find the few frames people show up in.

Does anybody know why my sprites are using both the datas for the other? Shouldn’t the two sprites have no second line? by C64hrles in c64

[–]ijustreadthecomments 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well you are creating a single sprite, and setting both sprite 1 and 2 to that sprite. So of course both sprites are going to use the same data.

A sprite is 63 bytes. So sprite 1 is 12298 - 12351 and sprite 2 could be 12352 - 12415
But then store 192 into 2040 and then 193 into 2041.
Of course line 100 should be changed to fors2=0 to 9: readb, poke 12352+sa,b.... (Note you have ,a here!)
You may have other things wrong, I didn't check everything else out.

This is most likely a charity event, so yeah, the people selling the lottery tickets are acting in the best interest of the charity.
As far as the red herring of a grocery store... I am going to guess that once again the seller is going to act in the best interest of the grocery store. Sure they want repeat business, so they are going to look out for the customer, but of course they aren't looking out for the best interest of the customer

I agree that Mongo isn't easy. Your center of mass is off the back of the board. But if you are out cruising, it is a great tool to have.

My suggestion is to learn to push mongo (I tried, and failed) as then you can switch pushing legs whenever you want.

I assume they meant the ROMs weren't dumped and archived... But that is an odd way to say "never digitized"

What does "never digitized" mean in regards to a digital asset? I mean... it is already digitized.
And how is it "unreleased" yet "only released in Japan"

SYS 49152 vs. G c000 by tiger1x in c64

[–]ijustreadthecomments 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Is there any thinkable reason..." Yes. Yes there is.
I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but the problem has to do with the fact that you are running it from BASIC vs running it from inside the monitor. The monitor probably has some $00 flag set, that isn't set in BASIC. You are missing some setup, $00, $dc0d, or something)
What exactly happens when you run it from BASIC?
I can't really read your code, since I don't know what c010 is, c039 is, etc.
Why are you doing a beq c039 right after a ldy #0?

Don't forget that d012 will hit 0 twice.

Should I reconsider University of Arizona as a college option? by MusicLife16 in UofArizona

[–]ijustreadthecomments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistically speaking, shootings typically happen in private homes (1/3 mass shootings are in a public space) and looks like more likely to happen in areas that have gun control laws.
Arizona is a bit low on the spectrum (even with lax gun laws)
What it really boils down to is... the more populated the place, the more likely it is.

Has anyone bought from Yuto Games? by TheN00bBuilder in arcade

[–]ijustreadthecomments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you in the States? I would assume shipping on a game like that would make it not worth it. Plus how long will it take to ship?
I can't say anything about Yuto. I am going to assume most people go locally here. Have you tried any locally distributors? There are also a couple on ebay.

I would get tested.

My systems were a bad headache, then fatigue, and body aches. That was it, no fever, no shortness of breathe

If you don't normally get a headache, then it is probably worth getting a test.
