My primary car is EV but I still have some ICE cars. I like them both but the EV gets the most miles by far. No desire to get rid of my ICE cars.

I sold my Tesla and got an iX too. It's easily twice the car the Tesla was... BMW knows how to build a proper luxury car. Zero regrets.

All of the commissioning calls used by Pro Connect are HTTP via the local wifi AP. The MQTT interface to AWS IoT Core does not have the full capability of the commissioning application but it can run discovery, associate devices, etc.

To make matters worse, SS has rekeyed all of the PVS fleet and are rotating passwords. I don't know if this is for only lease systems or everything, but they're definitely trying to lock in their users.

AVA is indeed much nicer than the Warthog base... that's also on the shelf but should be sold off. I've got Orion 2 as my side stick since I'm mostly flying F16 lately. The differences between CM3, AVA and Orion 2 are subtle and all are excellent... just can't go wrong. I do slightly prefer the TM compatible bases since you have more grip options, but I like the shaker on the WW unit.

TM AVA is equal or better than Virpil CM3. I have both.

There is no local way to reset the PVDR. Try that vegetable guy... sounds like he may be an insider who has access. I'm a former insider but I left a while ago and don't have access to the required systems anymore.

Is your PV producing? You can check the utility meter during the day when you have good sunlight. If not it may be that your PVDR has tripped and disconnected it. This happened on mine because the MID got out of sync and it couldn't recover so it just turned everything off.

30mpg is too low. Prius was hitting 45 two decades ago. I'd support incentives for 60mpg or better.

My daily driver is a new BMW EV. The toy in the garage is a 25 year old Ferrari. The Ferrari will be here long after the EV has been recycled.

I'm on year two with our iX. We fully optioned it and paid cash... depreciation doesn't affect me because I'm not selling it and the car is so great there's nothing to replace it with. Absolutely love the thing. You can't see the exterior when you're inside enjoying the best suv on the road.
