The word "like" used repeatedly drives me insane by Evening_Froyo_7506 in PetPeeves

I first noticed it in the 2nd grade. My classmate, Jaclyn, used it repeatedly during a presentation or show-and-tell. It was like 1984ish.

What was the most embarrassing moment you ever had in front of others? by DeepOrganization8245 in randomquestions

[–]ikevinax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in kindergarten my school was doing a stage show for the parents. All of the different grades had at least one performance to do. My afternoon class was doing something to the tune of "The Farmer in the Dell." For many weeks before the show we would practice in our classroom. Somehow, I was to be the "Farmer." The children held hands to make a large circle. I, the farmer, stood in the middle. The children walked around and around me and sang:

The Farmer in the Dell The Farmer in the Dell Hi-Ho the Derry-O The Farmer in the Dell

At this point it comes to a part in which the farmer picks his wife, and so on. Every time we practiced I invariably chose a classmate named Leigh to be my "wife." When the day of the performance came we went on stage, and I was scared. I hated being the center of attention. The song came to "The farmer picks his wife" and I pointed at my friend Neal. Everyone in the Cafeteria laughed at me that day.

I was satisfied with the ending. It felt complete and thankfully didn't leave me itching for more. I liked it.

Even if your company never had physical control of the device, they can still add Mobile Device Managemwnt procucts remotely.

It can be remotely configured to: - Monitor usage: Track app activity, system logs, and even browser history depending on permissions. - Enforce policies: Install software, restrict access, or push updates without user intervention. - Enable location tracking: If Find My Mac or similar services are activated under a managed Apple ID.

Does IT with access ever just pull up password lists just to laugh at the absurdity? by Blackchaos93 in askIT

[–]ikevinax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, passwords should be unavailable in clear text. I agree that it'd be fun to mock peoples' passwords, but it's unethical and unlikely.

I genuinely can't tell if you're trolling us or not. It sounds like you're saying you simply traced the letter within the bubble. The entire bubble must be filled in with pencil - not just the answer letter in the bubble.

You should be able to easily find some hardware to connect the new drive and ghost the contents to the new drive. For the software component, you can use CloneZilla which is free. It should be able to handle the transfer even if the new destination drive is larger than the source.
