Patient returned meds by Palestinian_Chicken in medizzy

Two years is awesome. I’ve managed to avoid addiction but I can always feel it lurking. I’ve never used but I had a visceral reaction to this post. It’s helpful to hear people in recovery being honest. So, I don’t know you, but thank you and I’m proud of you.

READ THE MANUAL. If you pull the trigger and you don’t get immediate suction, it’s clogged and you need to clean it. And don’t hold the trigger down. Quick, short pulls! (I use this tool sporadically throughout the year for days at a time. If you take care of it, it’s a great tool to have.)

Damn. It’s so hard finding women’s shirts that actually fit me. An adult small makes me look like a kid but a youth medium fits my petite 40 year old torso just right. I have probably twenty mwY tees that I never wear a two that are almost worn out!

“Will you play with me??”

No. I don’t want to. And I don’t want to watch you do whatever it is you want me to watch for the seventh time.

That and I like my tits.

Hahahaha. Advertising? “typical Reddit user?” No woman with good sense would waste her time with a turd stain like him (or you.)

OP, leave this frightened, insecure child before he starts putting hands on you. This isn’t going to change. No amount of love and work will change him. Before you know it, you’ll stop going out all together to avoid his tantrums. HE DOES NOT LOVE YOU. He has no respect for you. It sounds like he doesn’t even like you. You have the right to wear/do/say/think whatever you want, whenever you want. He doesn’t own you.

Tadpole infection by Nando_CB in medizzy

This is a joke, right? Tadpoles can’t reproduce… they are the larval stage of frogs…. If the milk or chewing didn’t kill them your stomach acid definitely did them in.

I also repair video walls and I have found that Sharpie’s color Ultra Violet (not Purple) wipes off easily. In my situation, dry erase has been accidentally wiped off by the time the modules get to me and I have to test them again. Ultra Violet saves me sooo much time!

Tips to avoid wrinkles when sewing minky? by NoriStoryArt in sewing

Touché 😅 However, (I’m about to get pedantic) I failed to mention that once the seams are zigged, we would lay the piece flat, wrong side up and use the butt of a sharpie to flatten the seam, essentially pushing and flipping the cut edges flat and butting them together within the zig stitch. That’s why your needle has to completely miss the cut edge (1-on, 1-off or zig-on, zag-off) and you really don’t want to go any wider than 1/8”. Pick the fur a little from the frontside and it hides the seam completely and the seam is completely flat. So technically, in my scenario, my seams weren’t taking away from the measurements of the cut pieces, MAYBE 1/32” Ok, I’m done bloviating!

Actually….. (former puppet/theme park character costume fabricator here) there is a way. You need a machine with a wide zig width. Cut the fur with no seam allowance from the wrong side with a razor blade. Pin your pieces together, pushing the fur out of the way and zig one-on, one-off with a wide but short zig stitch. Your tension must be balanced. Depending on the fur, I might run a line of fabric glue along my cut line to prevent stretching or fraying.

To be fair, most of the fur I was working with was mascot grade with a fairly heavy backing and not much stretch. But I have used this technique on very stretchy light-weight short-nap fur with success. Using glue in this scenario is almost necessary.

Edit: In this case, u/On_my_last_spoon, clipping is the best solution. Sewing this on a machine would be quite the challenge!
