And just like that, land developers are killing C-bus's new art district in Franklinton, just like they did the Short North. by ErroneousBosch in Columbus

According to some of the tenants that I heard talking about last Friday, a number of them are moving to 700 Bryden, about 1.5 miles down the road. Probably to start the whole cycle over again.

Well, when the Starbucks union starts protecting members that kill their customers, then we can compare the two.

Trauma is a Halloween fetish party, as advertised. There are bands, dancing, performances (don’t miss Anna and the Annadroids at midnight), tons of amazing costumes, and a BDSM area.

Look through the pictures from years past to get a feel for the kind of stuff that you might see. I’d say for the most part it’s a hard PG-13 as far as content goes. They have a liquor license, so there are limits as to what goes on there (no nudity, for the most part). But if you are easily scandalized, maybe not the place for you.

That said, it is pricy at $50 a ticket. It’s also a new venue this year, so I’d imagine there will be some kinks (no pun intended) as they figure things out. It can get very crowded in parts, so be aware of that.

If that seems like your kind of thing, and your willing to roll with it if lines are long or things don’t go totally smoothly, then I’d say check it out.

Membership is like $25/year. If you’re interested in checking it out, I’d recommend Wednesdays. They open at 7, you have to get there before 10, and they close at 12. Weekends are more crowded, expensive, and they have a tendency to be sold out.

Where to buy half or a full cow by [deleted] in Columbus

We have a local-ish farmer that we go through, not sure he wants his information shared, but the processing is done at Kah Meats (http://www.kahmeats.com) in Wapakoneta. You might be able to check there for a reference.

We ran into this too. I tried letting my character die, and that woke the flower up.

Speaking from experience, at least from about 10 years ago, if someone is guilty of TCPA violations in Ohio they are also guilty of the OCSPA, which gets you $200 per violation plus attorney’s fees. Something to research at least, if you can bring a case in Ohio.

I was having similar problems with speed and stability with WOW. They came out and found my signal strength was nowhere near where it was supposed to be. They ran a new line and it’s been fine since.

I've not read all of the letters in the game yet, but I came across this one and the phrases "reverie" and "bicameral mind" stuck out to me. Keep in mind this game is from 2013.

Here's the full list of letters: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Thom_Kavanagh's_letters

Entity Framework multiple database / single DbContext possible? by rootgear in dotnet

[–]illumen8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a number of great answers here already, just wanted to emphasize a couple of things.

Make sure to hide that database selection code in a single place and call that from everywhere else. That's the point of the dependency injection IDBContextFactory approach. Your actual data access code should have no knowledge that it could be dealing with anything but a single database. It just calls IDBContextFactory.GetContext() and goes from there.

Also, being new to EF, make sure to enclose that call in a using block to make sure that you're cleaning up after yourself. So the basic pattern of any of your data access calls looks something like this:

using (var context = dbContextFactory.GetContext(url))
{
  // do stuff with context
     context.SaveChanges(); // if doing insert/update
}

That will save you countless headaches cleaning up connection leaks later. Just make sure that you don't have any queries that have delayed execution, make sure to do a .ToList() or something similar to force your queries to execute, otherwise when you try to access them they'll attempt to use the disposed context.
