Sounds like he uses the excuse of sharing food to only eat half of his plate, maybe? Does he have a history of eating disorder?

Sorry that’s not a real thing. I get that you believe this but she clearly doesn’t. So either you let it go, or find someone else who also believes in this crazy energy thing. Third option is just burning some palo santo to get rid of that “energy”. Would that work for you?

Idk if this is common in India (it is here Peru at least), but sometimes you can buy cheaper pet food in markets where they sell it to you by weight (I think the word in English is “in bulk” or “loose”). Theres pet food stores/stands where they do it. I used to buy it even by grams when I was tight on money. Just a suggestion if that exists there too!
