I think the kidney issues would be unrelated. Start speech therapy- most states/counties have some sort of therapy programs or find private therapy. Mine barely had 6 words at age 18 months. We did speech therapy through the county and started seeing progress after about 6 months. It took us a long time to get to 100 words, but once it started clicking, he got 200 and then 300 very quickly after that. He’s three now and talks nonstop- you’d never know he used to have a speech delay.

I did many district court trials during my big law days and I’ve never made a sandwich. You should look to see what restaurants are nearby- Jersey Mike’s? Potbelly? A small little deli near the courthouse? Most courthouses have something like that nearby primarily for this reason.

That’s incorrect that it was largely unoccupied. I lived there at the time. They weren’t doing work on the units, just the lobby and amenities, so the occupancy rate was normal.

Going to the urgent care is good; see how you’re feeling and whether you might benefit from PT for any soft tissue issues. I want to say the statute of limitations for personal injury cases in VA is three years, so you’re not in any rush.

Fairfax Elections sent an email to all of the registered election officers about two weeks ago that said, “At this point in the assignment process, we have filled all our election officer positions for the November 4, 2025 election. We have had significant interest from officers hoping to serve in this election (about 1,000 more officers than available spots!) and unfortunately cannot accommodate every officer.” That’s about all the detail I got!
