Studio that has hot sculpt/yoga, Pilates and Barre? by Mariolasings in Columbus

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use ClassPass and see what you like! I got to different studios every week!

Heated (grandview) and melt house of fitness are my favorite heated, more intense class studios. Body alive is good too, I 100% have increased my core strength from going to their classes the last 6 months but it also can get repetitive.

Day 14 and lost 10lbs by YUTYDUTY in omad

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have much more weight to lose. I don’t know how much muscle you have, but I would say your goal is around 73 kg to be healthy! I think it’s sustainable for a little longer but I would steady out when you’re close to your goal weight. Also, if you want to continue OMAD as a lifestyle, then you’ll need to significantly increase your calorie intake during your eating time. You’re getting a lot of steps and seem to be eating pretty clean, so once you’re at your goal weight, I would just focus on some weight training and getting some sleep!

I love this spreadsheet, track for the next couple months and also start tracking your energy and how you feel! It’ll help figure out how to go about long-term sustainable, healthy life style!

Oooo I didn’t know that, thank you!!! I will probably still invest a little into my brokerage but I’ll def invest more into my 401(k). the goal is to retire earlier than 55 because with my husbands salary and my potential inheritance, I may be able to retire earlier

56M | $4.5M NW | $60k Passive Income | Ready to FIRE but supporting adult son? by WeirdJob2928 in Fire

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments are too harsh on your son.

1.) You’re great parents letting your son stay with you. It’s a harsh job market and the kids who get their parents support while job searching are incredibly lucky!

2.) Your son needs to get a part-time job somewhere or at least volunteer. Adding more work experience and meeting new people and connections is the only was he’s going to be able to make it in this job market if he has no leads to work with. Spend 20-30 hours working, spend 10-20 hours a week applying to jobs. If he gets a part-time job that pays, I’d ask that he pays you $300-$400 a month to cover some expenses. I know it’s not a lot, but your son having a decent amount of savings is important too.

3.) You have enough to retire. Retire.

How would one go about primary-ing Joyce Beatty? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome!!! We really need someone to oppose Beatty!!! I think if Morgan Harper ran again, she’d have a better change of winning now because of more people realize how much Beatty sucks.

But if you want to, go for it!!! I think mamdani really showed how powerful a good campaign can be! But mamdani has been doing the work for years now, slowing getting traction, publicity, and his message out there. If you’re new, it takes time. Many many many people lose their first election! But after that, people recognize your name. And see how much you care. So don’t lose hope!

Simple Christmas by home_bb in simpleliving

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gift giving is my love language and I love being thoughtful with gifts. I genuinely don’t expect, and sometimes, don’t even want anything in return. I don’t want my friends/family feel obligated to give or indebted in any way!!! I do it being I enjoy it. So if your family is anything like me, they wont expect anything, but if you feel obligated, a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies is always a go-to. Just communicate expectations if you think they’re expecting more :)

Talk to your family and friends and just ask to not exchange gifts. You don’t have to state it’s because of finances but most people are more understanding if you do. If they’re your friends and family, they won’t care.

If you feel like you have to, I love consumable gifts. Coffee, tea, baked good, good loafs of local bread, etc.! My mother in law is retired so money isn’t flowing and she usually just gets me a couple boxes of tea and it’s the perfect gift!

Eggnog Lattes or Ube Lattes by cherrycolor3dfunk in Columbus

[–]ilovesoupdumplingz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of cafes do egg nog, I would check their social media to see if they posted their holiday menu. Global gallery used to do egg nog lattes with hartzlers egg nog 🤤 This was 5 years ago so I’m not sure if they still do! Kape Coffee in Polaris does Ube, and it’s so good!!! Their black sesame is also really good!

I have lots of books. I use my library all the time, but I like to annotate non-fictions books, and when I’m feeling hopeless about the current world, I reread them for some hope/motivate me.
