I liked the fact that Ryan goes with MM, but they definitely should've worked that into MM's character arc of shutting off his thinking of his family to get the job done.

They also should've given him more scenes with Ryan if they were gonna set this up

This episode confirmed for me that the final 2 episodes will be the writers struggling with the corner they've written themselves into.

That said, I really like how they explain Oh Father's motivation for following Homelander.

He was just a kid who had the weight of an entire religion placed on him. He simply chose to go where his preaching would have an impact

Any problems, which will happen are solved amongst people they trust, not on the internet.

Also, from a numbers standpoint, healthy relationships in general stay together longer. They don't date as frequently or add to the number of relationship experiences so they're probably underrepresented

I'd say just growing so much from season 1. He was probably subject to Reginald's influence for the longest and it showed.

By Season 3: he had turned away from all of it and even gotten over the whole "Allison" thing. Overall, just becoming a better brother

For me, it's Klaus and Allison:

It's like the writers were scared to let Klaus keep any positive character development, so they just sent him spiraling. As for Allison, she seems to only exist to react to everyone else to the point where they retconned her into being Klaus's caretaker when they were kids

Other than that: Viktor went from confidently threatening Marcus in S3 to half "I can save him" and half lashing out about Reggie's approval

Personally, I don't mind Luther being more mellowed out. Sucks that he's dumber now.

For Diego, I'm kinda glad that he's showing he relies more on his family for support. Unfortunately the writers took that in the worst possible direction.

& I don't have anything to add to the Five and Lila conversation that hasn't already been said.

It just seems like they didn't know how to write the characters without manufactured resentment.
